Yuvraj had great change of pace as his asset. These guys are not that skilled

Before that he could bowl an over or two reliably but this extra pressure is not meant for part-timers. 100%. Dube was bowling well. Infact sometimes he was the best pacer on display. He is screwed now with the instructions given to him. He can not execute the wide line perfectly. Half the time he is wide and other half he gives an easy hit me ball. Fuking Gambo Dumbo, always has to do something dumb. Ultimate_Game 1

Even specialist bowlers struggle with the pressure of nailing the perfect line & length outside off and here our "think-tank" expects an occasional bowler to do so! Dube opened the bowling in Asia Cup and had improved but forcing him to bowl such a line & length has made him regress. This is all on team management and especially the bowling coach. The bowling coach should've stepped in and said it's not realistic and better to let Dube bowl to his strength. Morkel is just a passenger and he doesn't deserve to be the bowling coach if he can't handle such a simple thing. cricspirit 1

First bringing in Gill to replace Samson. If he had brought in Jaiswal I would've been all for it but tuk-tuk Gill?! Then he brought in Sundar and in fact preferred him over clutch Axar who won us two ICC tourneis! Finally breaking Dube. Plus he hasn't fixed SKY at all who's a walking wicket at this time, and he also tried his best to sideline Arshdeep. Gambhir definitely is not "strategy" material.
jf1gp_1 Posted February 28 Posted February 28 Dube has quietly been doing his job. Its amazing how he had become absolute critical member of this team.
