Not mine. Mine is Afghanistan by a distance. WI players, especially from the Holding, Lloyd, Richards era never really got over the 1983 WC and have held the grudge. You have to hear Holding talk about Indian players or Lloyd doing the same. They can barely contain their hate and contempt for India. Have seen it multiple times. IT is almost like we are playing one less player with Abhishek now. HE must show up. He cannot go missing the entire tournament.

On the second part, respect your opinion, you could be right but I feel that there is a pattern and self serving nature to his opinions and so I have a different perspective on him so let's just agree to disagree on this one
AKane Posted March 4 Posted March 4 (edited) To win - whether we bat first or second, 1) We need fifties from 2 of these Abhishek, Samson, Ishan, Tilak 2) We need a 35 or 40 from 1 of Suryakumar, Dube, Hardik Quick 20's from couple of others (including among above) will determine our fate. To win - whether we bowl first or second 1) We need to get both Salt and Buttler out cheaply - If one or heaven forbid both play out the PP, we are in trouble. 2) We need to get at least 1 of Brook and Jacks cheaply They still have Bethel, Banton, Curran, Dawson, Overton/Rehan - none of these should be allowed a quick 25 or 30.
