I think 10ins Jaskirat sets the tone. U become sympathetic to

him.

 

Althogh I also liked how director has shown nonchalant atif. I remember news of acttual Atiq killing a man in civil

lines by chasing him with Allahabadi Amrood( hand made bomb).

Gangs of Wasseypur was a crime against humanity. 
1)Abusive language for the sake of it.

2)terribly hyped up music.

3)Nawazuddin.

I didn't watch it nor plan to watch it ever but interestingly alot of the Cineplex theater that were showing this in Canada had their screen slashed. Some stopped showing it all together. People had to be refunded. Unsure if hate crime or a Pakistani citizens going around and doing this, but this is a thing that happened during the first week it came out.

It has broken all records overseas for an Indian film and is still going strong despite being banned in Gulf.

My wife went to see it 2x with her friends lol. Would have been 3, but the first time she went, screens were slashed and they had to refund everyone. Came home and was like omg better than avengers. I just lol'd and was like ok, good for you .
