The incompetent, pathetic, useless engineers are just burning the money without doing anything substantial. Latest casualty is Tapas drone, which is being chucked out in favour of SeaGuardian and other imported drones, coz it's not meeting the required standards. We're already the second biggest importer of arms (after Ukraine). If you use the laboratory of certain department, it is a "custom" to include the professor and Head of department as second and third persons in the paper. The first person will always be you. We don't spend nearly enough on R&D and higher education and we don't have enough quality universities. China spends 2.8% of its substantial GDP on R&D and still lose a significant chunk of their top minds to the West.
