2024 is missing

Where is Varun Chakravarthy? He was in both 2025 and 2026 squads and had contributions as well. You missed out 2013 CT as well where DK ,Ashwin and strangely M Vijay were in the squad. Only 2024 WC and 2002 CT did not have a single player from TN.

Also Samson can get into discussion. Why is KL Rahul automatic selection? He just has bad energy. Samson can be WK/batter option. Rahul can be in squad but second choice.

 

Iyer has to come in. He should be captain and  not Gill. Forget making Gill the all format star.

 

Start prepping Karthik, Ashok etc. Give them games and take one express bowler.

If  Reddy keeps his fitness even after bowling 6-7 overs in every match , he could be a great addition to the 16 member team. He has already improved his bowling

quite a bit , bowls near mid 130 with some movement . Let him improve further in another 9 months  . I think bowling  should the prioirty . Once he bowls decently ,batting can be improved as we have seen his ability, IN SA we may get pitches with some help and  couple of pace all rounders will make the team more balanced PLUS in emergency he can be stop gap replacement for Hardik though not of same level perhaps.

He's batting like a tailender these days. Unless his batting improves he shouldn't be brought in.
