When a generational talent like Sooryavanshi went for 1 cr, surely 14 cr for Prashant Veer seems like a decision made by KKR management and not CSK. CSK are masters of value picks and them handing over 14 cr like this means things have changed in the management team.

The one thing I can think off is that CSK like their coaches and backroom staff who keep a low profile, stay away from lime-light and not visible but Ashwin isn't like that. He's opinionated and not shy about sharing his thoughts and opinions. That may have put CSK off him.

During the T20 WC a certain @putrevus was trying to pass some strange concocted hypothesis why Kohli is a better batsman and captain than MSD. When I laid down the facts, stats and videos he was no where to be seen. Today I stand vindicated, MSD is absent and this team can’t find their footing. There is no real leadership. If only MSD was playing this 250 chase would have been a possibility.
