Just need to be practical, and a trio settings of deterrence, detection and correction clarity. So focus on the “how. Like , address both the soft vs hard conversions tactics. There is be stronger social emphasis on our absolutes yes, & nots.

Similarly, a key reason for the how, is the strategic silence. Congress leaders and even the local UBT MP are quiet, and t exactly why Muslims votes en-masse for just their veto power. This needs to be called out more & more.

This is a comprehensive report from a freelance journalist Subhi Vishwakarma. Follow her TL for more in depth reports. The more I read,, I blame  the women as well. They were all graduates with ages between 22+, one should I have enough common sense to not be groomed like a teenager. They were stupid enough to go along with the harassment and when things went South, it could be turned into a sexual complaint. Of course, religious grooming angle is also there that cannot be ignored.

Are you even aware of how much political parties like BJP, Shiv Sena, NCP work for hindus. A lot of work is done in background. It is the responsibility of women and her family first to confront and use legal and other means to confront the person who tries to convert her. Lodge a complaint and let that person rot in jail for years and make him visit court for years and years. But the girls and families keep quite because they know that in some cases their girl is in love and the neighbors , society etc will consider it is a matter of love affair between two grown ups and there is nothing to get involved.What has BJP, ShivSena and NCP to do in this. Likewise there are so many cases where hindu boy marries girls form other religion. Many of them convert to the girls religion when the girls parents set this condition, in other cases the hindu boy marries without changing his religion. Hundreds of cases are there in every city.It is just that people are not aware. 

 

 

I can tell you one thing, the political parties have been doing great work behind the scenes without making noise but achieving the objectives, but the girls do not even have 10% of their brain and are confused. Secondly, this is not BJP, ShivSena,NCP thing working in isolation. Members of political parties even during elections talk with each other , drink with each other, are good friends, joke about each others party, collaborate with each other etc, work i multiple parties.Politics is like a organization, even though you compete with your competitors and pitch for your portfolio they do have a rapport between them and work together on some issue together without any hate ofr each other.  

 

The onus is on the girl, the boy who gets converted. Just keeping on blaming political party for your own weakness is not the way to go. See how many local citizens from abroad relatives are going to come when you ask them to handle such cases. Typing few things from abroad on twitter does not needs daring. Show daring where it is required. Darpuk hai sab. Only political parties have the daring to do what needs to do and they are infact doing to cover up for  what the  girl or her family members cannot dare to do. Why are they not taking their own stance and deterence. The more citizens start blaming political parties, the more political parties will stop taking people seriously when they know these people do not even value what they are doing. Huh? Shiv Sena isn’t same as SSUBT. The latter seen secular, only because it offers veto power to Muslims, and in this case, their complete silence. 

 

That’s important to address, as it gives breathing spaces,  for such islamic individuals, groups to work around. This is a key part of the “how” it happens.

 

Whereas, with BJP around, it’s safe-spaces for Hindus to express their beliefs, and to call out others. That’s the best politicians can do, as it is ultimately up for Hindus to defend themselves, not some parties.

There is nobody here who knows Maharashtra politics but just that BJP merged with Shiv Sena and Shiv Sena has a new name now or who has been part of Maharashtra politics. To add to it, this  is not a political forum so there is no need to waste so much time discussing Maharashtra politics here. Also, forum is not a place to share sensitive and confidential things. 

 

Bal Thackeray's Shiv Sena and the current Shiv Sena have done wonders for Maharashtra. So i am not going criticise any of them , whatever shortcomings both of them have. Even OG NCP (Sharad Pawar) and current NCP (Ajit Pawar, Sunetra Pawar), INC have done good things for Maharashtra. BJP in alliance with some of these parties at different point of time in last 6 decades have also done good stuff. Even BJP today which has so many politicians from original ShivSena as well as NCP has done fine. But that is a long story and tie consuming to write about long history of Maharashtra politics to explain which ex NCP member, which ex OG ShivSena member are in current BJP. Who has done what and what not when there were conversion attempts, riots etc. 

 

I know how females in our caste would tackle someone who tries to force convert. Unke politicans bhi nahi aane chahie bichme darr se itna inflkuence khud ka hona chaiye apne sheher me. Every family should be so confident. Are others confident as well? Kya weakness hai, sudharo apni weakness, get strong.  We should not be even talking about step 2. In fact there is no need of other steps.

So, the dalit girl got entrapped by a married man, she gets trapped after several advances by him, has a physical relationship with him. She comes to know about his wife who welcomes her as his second wife, as allowed by Islam. She’s so convinced about his love that she wants to convert, leave her parents and go live with him. Later, she comes to know about the fact that she’s not the only one and trapped, and there are several other girls. Only then she goes to the police and complaints. I am not victim shaming, but I have very little sympathies for her case. Legally, her individual case will not hold good in court as there was consent in all the sexual encounters. It might very well  be a gang conspiracy to trap vulnerable women at office, but this girl is not what they say doodh ki dhuli.

This is just a small peek into brains of a young woman.  Her mating preferences are quite different from the one that popular media(Both liberal and RW) would want us to believe.
