JazzyB Posted May 23 Posted May 23 Perfect example of nepotism player what a useless tuk tuk player in this format just like his dad he is an allrpunder but Samad treated him like a joke number 11 turning down singles he also has low IQ and wasted a review after ducking under a bouncer below his head Ultimate_Game 1
Ultimate_Game Posted May 23 Posted May 23 Ho gayi tasalli? Mil gaya justice? Can't bat, can't bowl but is Tendulkar's son. No different from likes of Bollywood nepo babies who are made "stars" just because they had the luck of being born into the "right" families. Can't bat or hit to save his life and bowling around 130 with no seam, swing or variety. Can't bowl in the PP overs, can't bowl at the death and still goes at 10 an over. Pick a spinner instead coz he plays the same role of bowling the middle overs but without taking wkts or managing a decent ER. tweaker 1

If he had come in PP overs or opened the bowling, Arya and Prabhsimran would've eaten him alive and the match would've ended a couple of overs earlier than when it did. Him bowling at 130 kph with no pace, seam, swing and bounce with only 2 fielders out is every opener and batter's wet dream.

Thats same pace as Kamboj lol gets bounce with his height
tapandrun Posted May 23 Posted May 23 He is neither a top-tier talent nor the worst player in the circuit. He is a Indian domestic cricketer who developed through the standard developmental pathway, albeit under much higher scrutiny than his peers due to his lineage. Both extreme praise and harsh criticism of his performances are unwarranted. As a tall, left-arm fast-medium bowler operating in the 130 km/h range who can provide useful lower-order batting runs, his skill set matches many players. However, his height and left-arm angle give him a advantage so selection in any domestic side. Any cricketer with this specific physical profile and skill set would naturally earn opportunities in the Ranji Trophy and the Indian Premier League (IPL). Mariyam, cricketfan28, Lord and 1 other 1 3

Trundling at 130k. Arjun atleast can bat as well. While the other three lazy bums find it too difficult to work on their batting. Not saying he is a top tier talent, but he doesnt deserve the abuse which he is getting courtesy of his father's name. Can stay and play in IPL/Ranji Edited May 24 by singhvivek141

Can stay and play in IPL/Ranji They are not. They have performed in domestic and IPL. These are the stats for the bowlers you mentioned... Unadkat: Kamboj: Mukesh Kumar: And these are Arjun Tendulkar's stats and performance: These performances are worlds apart. And keep in mind that nepo baby Tendulkar plays for Goa which is in Plate group where the standards are even lower. It's insulting to compare nepo baby to domestic performers who have toiled to get there. All three you mentioned average in early 20s in FC cricket whereas Arjun Tendulkar averages close to 40 despite playing in the lower level.
Ultimate_Game Posted May 24 Posted May 24 I can see why @Ravi_Shastri called out folks for supporting so called "phaast" or fake all-rounders like Arjun Tendulkar while taking shots at domestic performers just coz they're not "phaast" or are not touted as "all rounders".

What was the outcome when these FC stat gurus played for India ? Two were humiliated in front of the whole world making mockery of Indian pace. bowling. Third one enjoyed some success in Tests but was beaten so badly in ODI & T20 that he lost his composure in Tests as well. Its ridiculous to think that Arjun Tendulkar is a top tier talent. He is not. But poor chap is an allrounder, and has decent skills with bat. He can atleast play IPL intermittently. Trundler who cant even bat is useless as an umbrella in a cyclone. Lord 1

And what has Arjun Tendulkar done to warrant comparison with these performers? He can't even perform in the Plate level so why exactly should he be backed? And what batting performances are we talking about? We've all seen what he has done whenever he had the chance to bat. He's like Kuldeep and he isn't gonna win matches with his batting. He can neither bowl nor bat.

LSG played him anyway as a token coz they're already out of the race. No one is asking for internationals...he isn't fit for that.

Running like a 60 y.o. and bowling at a teenage girl pace without putting any effort to learn new skills isn't toiling. It's sailing through. Why did Nitish Reddy picked up his pace, he was pretty much a lock in for SENA tours. Yet, he put efforts to increase his pace and become effective. Why did Shardul Thakur or Deepak Chahar improved their batting skill ? Coz they knew that's what team needed. Why did B Kumar tried to increase his pace ? When he was pretty comfortable bowling 10 overs back to back at 125k's. Coz he understood lack of pace isn't cut it. It's a different matter that Shardul became overweight and Chahar and Bhuvi's body can't take the "extra load". But the above three just escaped without any effort. There is "Zero" excuse for trundlers who bowl at 125-130k and can't bat. That's why Nabi's case is different. But the above three, LOL...zero, nothing, nada. Lord 1
LordPrabhzy Posted May 24 Posted May 24 he may not be a world beater yet but the over reaction and criticism after he got ONE game.. while hacks like Priyansh Arya get multiple golden ducks and yet get 15 matches a season to show what they are made of Lord, Mariyam and singhvivek141 3
