As is veerji ka dhaba. But worth a visit. Santosh Dhaba is good but in general punjabi food is not good here. Hardly any place serving good chhole bhature. Kulcha Kulture is good.

Hyderabad does it's bet well. Delhi does it's bit well. Only difference is that punjabi/north Indian food is becoming common in all parts of India.

I don't even think you get good chole bhature even in Mumbai compared to the ones you get in Delhi. But , there's still decent to good north Indian food in Hyderabad. More if you go to the biryani joints and have their curries.
MechEng Posted May 17 Posted May 17 (edited) All in that list. I love Indian food as a whole (this is one area where I am not critical of India), and it is hard for me to differentiate there. To me, Indian food is the best and I personally rate it above the cuisines that I have tried - Lebanese, Italian, Turkish, Georgian, Korean, Japanese, Indonesian, Thai and Mexican. I haven't tried authentic French food yet, although I do not have high expectations. Have very little exposure to authentic Chinese food since they make liberal use of beef broth, never tried Tex-Mex barbecue because of the same reason as well. Edited May 17 by MechEng Gollum 1
MechEng Posted May 17 Posted May 17 Vidarbha cuisine is underrated, especially their meat dishes in black gravy, I think its called Saoji cuisine. Awesome spicy black gravy.

Like Japanese food, the flavours are subtle and of high quality. But I am still a sucker for spicy stuff from India, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Indonesia. coffee_rules 1

Sad it has come down to this @Lone Wolf @Mariyam @New guy @Lord @straighttalk, such petty people in power. Where is the Nihari, Korma, Kakori/Shami Kabab, Biryani etc? Edible oil, pickled chillis are signature UP dishes but not Awadhi Biryani and Galouti Kabab. UP still has very good food variety, but it was even more diverse pre partition. The food of Karachi is actually pre partition UP food brought by muhajirs Gollum and Mariyam 1 1
