G_B_ Posted May 17 Author Posted May 17 There is no harm in talking about forming gov in punjab. Its all propaganda. Hindus in punjab have voted defensively to keep out the worst option or avoided wasting their vote. I know many who voted congress in punjab though they wanted bjp to keep out aap or the soft seperatists. There are many ex SAD voters who voted Aap due to issues with Cong and 84 riots. This is where sikh leaders joining bjp helps. It wont get sikh votes but rather hindu votes who believe bjp can have an impact. It also means sikhs dont block vote against the bjp. The vote is spread between cong aap sad and soft seperatists.

They have 2027 mapped out already and he'll be front and center campaigning against AAP. And honestly, Navjot Sidhu showing up on a BJP stage by then would surprise nobody. Punjab being a border state matters more than people give it credit for. Mann is an absolute joke. A state sitting on the Pakistan border needs someone serious in that chair. The good news for BJP is AAP hasn't had the time to cement themselves the way TMC did in Bengal. TMC had decades. AAP has had one term. The ground is still loose. With the kind of money and organization BJP can bring in, Punjab is very much a winnable fight. Believe it or not AAP has massive support in Punjab.. yes folks don't like Mann's corrupt MLA but Mann is still a popular figure somewhat. Don't go by social media mocking him ground reality is stark different. I doubt any party there as a figure like that over there.. only Channi can realistically challenge him. There is no anti incumbency either. Punjab is unwinnable without non urban areas.. BJP has no base there prior to farmer's protests there were some efforts and they were in right direction but post the protests BJP has given up and now focusing on urban centres for some relevance. It is as tough as Tamil Nadu for them. 2027 is all about setting up a base first. They should stick to being solo. On Raghav Chadha I am certain BJP had some dirt on him and he jumped the ship. He is no Scindia who had solid base behind him nor he is a scion of the family like him. Chadha jumped the gun way too soon and is irrelevant. Such guys are beneficial for the people and country when in opposition only.

G_B_ Posted May 17 Author Posted May 17 Sad were not ready to give bjp 50 seats. Would rather get a handful of seats

someone Posted May 18 Posted May 18 (edited) https://x.com/iMac_too/status/2056332241144578547?s=20 This is the root, this divide & rule. So there is never any obvious BJP victory. The challenge and threat is obvious and constant forever . Mullahs and their hate for Hindus. Edited May 18 by someone G_B_ 1

randomGuy Posted May 29 Posted May 29 (edited) These are not all-urban, only a part. Only arnd 30 lac eligible voters were there. Some 22 lakh votes cast. Edited May 29 by randomGuy G_B_ and ravishingravi 1 1
G_B_ Posted May 29 Author Posted May 29 Its a big jump for bjp. Were sub 50 in around 2022 local elections. Likely to easily pick up seats in Pathankot district for assembly. Saini saab is still getting to grips with local unit. Alarm bells for aap. Min 50% of seats in these elections usually goto incumbant. Congress in poll position to sweep. Sad too will be happy with performance. I think cong will get 80+ seats and bjp+ will be 15 to 18% votes. randomGuy 1
G_B_ Posted May 29 Author Posted May 29 Places like Hoshiarpur bjp is relatively strong, yet to conduct poll
G_B_ Posted May 29 Author Posted May 29 If i were aap i will seriously consider alliance with akali. If aap lose punjab badly might be finished as a political party. Had they won delhi punjab loss could be written off. Akali have potential to transfer 8 to 10% to aap. Will make punjab two horse race with cong and pull in hindu votes from bjp. They are likely to demand 50% of seats as sukhbir badal has an oversized ego. But skill of aap lay in containing sad to 40 seats. ravishingravi 1
