Haven't seen Badoni bowl and is at the same level or worse than Abhishek as bowler. Badoni has done nothing to justify the spot. Pick Rinku over him.

 I am not against giving him a chance as he should be able to find the balance between attack and defence so that  it will lay foundation for test debut later on .

 But if the pitches are as low and slow as they were previously then hitting everyball  in the air will not succeed there. i think they will try to tie him arounf leg stump with spinners and then throw odd balls wider and chance of mishit would be much higher as wickets will also be slow. May have to  change his tactics by  trying to get more singles and punish hittable balls. If he does not allow to be tied down and  break the shackles by getting fours by ground storkes too then perhaps he will have much better tour overall. 

So expectation is tempered down and cannot expect IPL kind of heriocs. But happy he will have his test of different pitch conditions so early  and one of the least favourbale for an attacking batsman. Good for future growth.  Equally curious to see does he have an ace up his sleeve like Veeru who conquered Ajantha.

He will fit in the role of Rohit Sharma, that he played for last few years. Someone who is there to attack!

He was picked based on those 2-3 good performances for India A and he was absolutely pathetic in India A colours.

while kamboj and yash thakur actually performed in list a cricket arshad khan has no real backing and it feels like he is only there because of the gt quota

He is a decent bit and pieces player. But I'm still not sure what's his stronger suit.
Didn't bowl many overs in IPL and was getting tonked whenever he bowled (except RCB and CSK game). Batting wise as well didn't get many chances.
At this moment he basically seems like a right handed version of Shardul Thakur...7th batsman and 5th bowler for the team, a safety net.

He is in the India A four day match squad to play SL, when he should be in this one. He bats at four now for state doesn't open anymore, there are much more prolific middle order options: Rathod, Smaran, and of course Sarfaraz

Whats the Ind plan with Badhoni playing in lower mo ??, he is that tall or has that kind of power game to batting in lower mo.

 

Think rutu has replaced parag for this A tour, he is been on so many A tours wht else they are trying to check. Now it should be he is either Intnl material or not.

He avgs 50+ with sr of 90+ in list A. Send some1 else may be samran (he does not look comfortable vs pace and nearly 0 off-side game)

 

Arsahd is good pick LA pacers are needed in white ball , mishra should also been tested. 

 

This is v.good sl side spcly batting lot of batters who are intnl capped and just trying to make a come back into the main side again
