He is a sub 140 kmph bowler with nearly 0 variations, he did well still 3rd highest wkt taker this season ipl. He is not intnl material and certainly not a test bowler. If some1 is bowling 135ish in t20/ipl its fair to assume they will bowl 125-130ish kmph in test and 130-133 kmph is Odis. This pace does not work at intnl level. Mukesh kumar may have regressed but he was better t20 bowler he could nail yorker after yorkers and he was more 4th stump or top of off-stump bowler. kamboj has v.few skills, and he may give the illusion of being accurate, he is not the wkt taking or threatening edges, he does not bowl top of off or the 4th stump line. But he bowls at the body of the batter and doing so he drifts too much on legside. He could be the most hyped run of the mill pacer in Ind for a long time, here have been hype around some1 being fast or v.tall etc... but nothing like he had for a nothiing special bowler. There are videos of t.shekhar and may be arun as well telling kamboj is really good. reporters were calling him allrounder when there were views that bowlers need to bat too. Pace has it's place but if you don't get any zip off the pitch you're done for at this level. Philander used to get this even at late 120s. Otherwise even at 145 you can disappear. express bowling and Suhaan 2

Kamboj created the record for worst economy rate for any bowler completing at least 2 overs in IPL and he still played in next games because of his "accuracy" while a quick bowler like Ashok got dropped after one bad game.
