Prasidh is already 30, he missed his years due to frequent injuries from 2021-2024 and Covid. Still be a serviceable but Gurnoor seems more capable. Physically gifted bowlers are a valuable asset Edited June 13 by singhvivek141 express bowling and BacktoCricaddict 2
Popular Post express bowling Posted June 13 Popular Post Posted June 13 (edited) Different types of deliveries we saw from Gurnoor Brar today on ODI debut. .... Outswingers at 144 k to 148 k with bounce. .... In-seaming deliveries at 144 k to 150.9 k with bounce. .... Fiery bumpers at 140 k to 145 k. .... Accurate inswinging yorkers at 145 k to 147 k. .... Decent slower ball .... probably an off-spinner bowled into the pitch. Best thing about him is that he has a good stock ball unlike Umran, Mayank, Tyagi. Effect of playing 18 FC matches. He could have been tried in India A set up and would gradually move into Indian set up. But our selectors have never ending fetish with Kamboj. He is is new Mukesh Kumar and even lesser skilled. Ultimate_Game Posted June 13 Posted June 13 Gurnoor needs to replace Prasidh ASAP. Have never been convinced by Prasidh and is brainless to boot. Need 3-4 pacers for ODI WC. Bumrah is the only certainty with Pandya as supporting pace all-rounder. Let's see if Nitish Reddy steps up. But we still need 3 other pacers - 1-2 will play and one as a backup. If Gurnoor can step up and take a spot, that will be great for us.

They should not stop at Brar only, get in Ashok as well, will be huge asset in SA There is no alternative to pace on those WC SA surfaces, don't need to waste space on one too may spin ARs,these Ashok's,Brars,Harshit's all have the ability to wield their bats, with the ball they will be pure asset for us Edited June 14 by Suhaan Need4Speed, Sandz, Mosher and 1 other 4

And for this Afg series would've gone with Gurnoor, Ashok and Prince as pacers, and Nitish Reddy and another pace all-rounder (maybe Madhav Tiwari) so we can cover our bases. Too many gaps at the moment and I'm not confident about even a single area, be it top order, middle order, lower order, all-rounders, pace bowling or spin. The team needs a revamp just like the T20 one. express bowling 1
Frustrated Posted June 13 Posted June 13 Good debut. Has a nice & smooth action.. generating 145+ speed at ease. express bowling 1
Ultimate_Game Posted June 14 Posted June 14 Need to give Prince and Ashok a debut as well. And if Mohsin is fit, would love to see him too. No need to play Bumrah and Pandya for majority of matches and identify pacers to support them.
