Sangakkara was good but his numbers are inflated. He isn't higher than Smith....  Watched the entire career of Sangakkara. For some reason he never appeared scary or super impressive to me even when he just kept scoring runs... He was decent to watch but still felt nothing special. Even Chanderpaul got 10K runs playing with determination at higher average than Jayawardene. Chanderpaul will never be found on any list.

Anyways.. these exercises always have opinions of bunch of people.. Another bunch will select a different mix of players in different order. Someone always misses out.

Naah, I am banned there. I was SaimAyubEra lol.

I was thinking of going back someday but considering how bad they are, I don't even feel the need to troll them.

Fair list, but cannot accept Kallis as number one. He may be good on stats, but he has a lot of non-performances in Australia and England. Stats maybe good for both bowling and batting, but it was never as impactful as others. Kallis he is a big india bachelor like panting, but the latter had great impactful innings against all.. Tendulkar is number one.

Those on the list should ideally have been from those who made their debut in the 2000 to 2026 period. Or had 80% of their career fall in the period.

Kallis being number 1 is correct decision, he might be the greatest cricketer ever, Sobers comes close but this guy was excellent slip fielder.

Kallis is a stats padder of the Dravid mold ,  stacking up useless 100s and 5fers, somebody who has never him on play will read statsguru and vote him greatest cricketer of the century

Potential players who could have been in terms of impact based on all formats:

Mitchell Johnson

Josh Hazelwood

Rohit Sharma

Ravi Jadeja

Mohammed Shami

The list is flawed because it does not feature me

- Tons of runs against the best players of all time

- Tons of wickets against the best players of all time

- Some amazing catches taken and run out effected (usually featured in the best segments)

- Lucky and strategically sound captaincy

- Major series and tournaments won

And still I am not on the list :hitler:
