The same core failed to win the last 3 WCs when they were at their peak and they're expecting them to win it when they're closer to 40 and semi-retired! And it's not as if we don't have options. We'll be leaving likes of Sooryavanshi, Ishan, Jaiswal Sai either on the bench or out of the squad. I would argue that these would be way better than our top 3 (Rohit, Gill, Kohli) + KL. We'll waste Bumrah's last shot at WC by backing has beens when we have players to win now. +1. A world cup is a tournament where the best possible team needs to be selected.
