Tillu Posted May 31 Posted May 31 Smriti Mandhana, Yastika(main culprit) and Harman killed the game with their dot balls. Smriti playing at run a ball in the powerplay is inexcusable. Hit out or get out like Jemi yesterday without wasting any deliveries.

We need to find some decent female Tennis players been a while now (a bunch of em actually) and target some female oriented sports. Women kirket is hit and giggle stuff in grander scheme of things Everything happens eventually. Womens kirket gets you an olympic medal so it is important.

The 2025 WC win's effects will be seen 10 years from now. 11 hours ago, Lone Wolf said: I'd rather like to see better quality of life transcend towards other sports. Women kirket is hit and giggle stuff in grander scheme of things Hope we do something in UFC. MMA is the fastest growing sport and gives a lot of coverage/PR. Our wrestling can translate to MMA, because wrestling seems to be the dominant martial art form upon which everything is built, these days grapplers are dominating strikers. So many Dagestanis, Chechens, Central Asians with solid base in wrestling are dominating the sport. Problem with our wrestlers is that they transition to MMA too late and can't develop their other skills in their 30s. I say invest in MMA and offer enough incentives to budding wreslers to go pro in their early 20s. I see many top UFC fighters who have lost to Indian wrestlers when they were amateur. Lone Wolf 1

Beyond 2032 Brisbane olympics I highly doubt it going to be relevant. With barely 3-4 competitive sides India will eventually dominate or will equalise with Australians Women's hockey has far far greater relevance and prestige Edited May 31 by Lone Wolf

Yeah so much potential for contact sports in India. And Indeed UFC/MMA is shortcut for PR and global recognition these days Gollum 1

Don't see India hosting it in 2036 either imo.. we are in no position to hold Olympics and I hope for India's sake we don't. I'd be fine with CWG and Asian Games first. Edited May 31 by Lone Wolf

youngindia Posted May 31 Posted May 31 (edited) yastika wasa much needed added firepower considering jemi/shafali are so inconsistent.but she has issues arising ftom her injury n is slowing down after reachng 30,a strange effect.this is is a nice chance for her to stamp her place as a premier player.raghvi bist is neither in the senior squad n or in the A team, surprising as she was most effective vs australia a outside shafali/yastika. trisha shud be in 5-7 the soft underbelly.but her progress is unknown for the past 1 year.cant make sense of itsince vaishnav and kamalini hv been brought in..the pacers hv to e titas n shabnam sometime soon.the pacers are losers along with 5-7.anushka n yastika hv to take over much of the burden from smriti in the future who is shouldering too much weight due to inconsistency orcluelessness from rest of the team..harman is a shadow of her 2017 self.i was shocked to see her 2017 videos.this team cant hammer at 12 an over. vvvslaxman Posted June 2 Author Posted June 2 Yastika bhatia did well toda before being run out 32 runs in 18 balls with 7 fours. She is coming back after 2 year layoff. Has played 2 good innings.
vvvslaxman Posted June 2 Author Posted June 2 Why are they drastically slwoing in the middle overs. Now the run rate is 8.59
vvvslaxman Posted June 2 Author Posted June 2 Why is Richa not batting ahead of Deepti. She doesn't have that clean free swing.
vvvslaxman Posted June 2 Author Posted June 2 They need some range htiters for sure. Bat just comes down and stops.
