They had no buisness winning the T20 World Cup 2021 or the World Cup 2023. In 2021 - England was the strongest team while Pakistan had the momentum but Aussies lucked out with toss and pooks choking an already won game against Mathew Wade of all people. In 2023 - Rohit and Dravid basically handed them the trophy over by meddling in pitch preparation and making it a win toss win match scenario. putrevus 1

Yes be defeated them in 2007 World T20 semifinals, 2011 quaterfinal, 2016 World T20 virtual quaterfinal , 2025 champion trophy semifinal. Only time we lost during this period in semifinal was in 2015 world cup. Gollum 1

Pooks would have been unbearable had they won there, that SF was one of the most enjoyable wins for me. NZ was waiting in the F to bend over to both sides anyway, so that SF was the virtual F. Facing them in SENA is different kettle of fish. It's fun to have a tournament outside Asia but sucks so bad that our team is old and jaded and washed up.. It is going to be 2015 repeat Edited June 2 by Lone Wolf

That Afridi spell in first over. You'd have thought this guy would be world beater moving the ball at 91-92mph lol.. and now he is trundling at 132kph and with his decline you got PCT in a slump as well Edited June 2 by Lone Wolf Gollum 1

Once we lost pandya it became even worse . Gollum 1
vvvslaxman Posted June 2 Posted June 2 Ollie peake is the best Australian from under-19 bunch. Made a 100 against England in the u19 world cup. He looks not ready for this level like Vaibhav or even Ayush.

Even in tests they are better dude. Post 2015 record, they are still ahead of us. As a cricket nation, absolutely no comparison. We are much better in T20Is, may need another 10-15 years to get there in longer formats.

It is going to be 2015 repeat But they are nowehere close to 2015 level. 2015 Aus is ATG, easily better than every single ODI team India has fielded in its history. Power-packed MO of Clarke, Watson, Maxwell, Haddin. Faulkner at 8, Johnson 9, Starc 10. Johnson, Starc, Hazlewood pace trio. Cummins was warming the benches. @Nikhil_cric 2015 Aus is almost at the level of their 2000s side. Look at the crazy batting depth, Starc at 10, back then he used to take his batting more seriously as well !!!! Edited June 2 by Gollum Nikhil_cric 1

Might even call them the best team of the tourney. Unreal Aussie clutchness saved the event. Lone Wolf 1

Very underrated ODI team Gollum 1
tapandrun Posted June 2 Posted June 2 Aus is not a super team anymore, yet they have won wtc, odi wc and t20i world cup in this period.this is not bad at all.
