Then came the greatest ever T20 WC campaign by any batter, no one will dare question him now. Trust the youngsters to come good. Age is on his side. At this point he needs a bit of luck. One small opening. Make a 200. Seal the spot. Kishan was also out of favor. One series turned his career upside down
test fan Posted May 31 Posted May 31 I think jaiswal is going to Mumbai Indians and Hardik Pandya to RR. Good Trade for both teams.
Sooda Posted May 31 Posted May 31 Honestly I don't care about his IPL struggles As long as his test career continues in the vein it has been (he wasn't good in the home season like everyone else) God willing , he will go down as a test match legend. His time in ODIs will come . We don't need him in T20i. maniac, BacktoCricaddict and tapandrun 3

nevada Posted June 2 Posted June 2 The T20 field is super crowded right now with multiple batters ahead of him, but Jaiswal can be picked in ODIs. He is a lambi race ka ghoda unlike everyone of those openers ahead of him in T20. He has the capacity to play a long and big innings. It's a shame he missed out on the 2003 WC and it would be even worse to keep him out of the 2027 edition as well. He has been very good in the test format but why should he be limited to it? As a young player he would want to be part of the more lucrative limited overs formats.
