Eden is another who can reverse. The gap for 3rd HTD, either Tyagi or Harshit has to fill that role. Ashok is in the mix looking at things... Though maybe only for limited overs cricket atm. That's why he got picked for that Tri series final. Now he needs a solid FC season and he will be there in the main draw. Selectors probably advised him to move to Gujarat state side which is devoid of genuine fast bowlers. He will get ample opportunities express bowling and Mosher 2

Gurnoor, Prasidh, Need atleast another one Skiddy quick, reverse .... Ashok, Eden Brisk seam / swing .... Siraj, Yash T Harshit will not make it if he does not play FCC and bowls 5 kph slower than he can in T20Is. Tyagi has better attitude but needs to play FCC. Same with Mayank. And even if they are around the bare minimum, they should generating a lot of backspin and minimum 135 kph average speed to be considered for India selection. So, states should be prioritising picking for such attributes instead of looking to win with trundlers Short and skiddy bowlers who can bowl yorkers and defensively have their utility in T20 format. But obviously accuracy and skill set must be good. Prince Yadav is an example. He will not be a good ODI prospect but his T20 skills will be useful. rollingstoned, Nikhil_cric and express bowling 3

But I was talking about long format cricket. Don't think there's been a single bowler who has been successful with a release height lower than 1.9m in the last 20 years. Not counting round arm slingers obviously. express bowling and Lone Wolf 2

He will get ample opportunities Ashok if remains fit will play this FC, he debuted last season and bowled well and picked up wkts. He needs guidance though as he often gets predictable and in that process can go for runs. Didn't knew that he is moving to Gujrat, good decision though as Raj has a lot of pacers. Ishant type of bowlers is missing. He can bow massive inswingers and also he can get some natural bounce. Also bowl long spells at a very low economy rate. Siraj is the work horse now. He probably needs a replacement soon in a couple of years Edited July 5 by vvvslaxman

This champu midget Curran is a live example... His defensive skills are quite good at International T20 level. Nathan Ellis is skiddy and clever customer as well. Prince should model himself along those lines. rollingstoned and express bowling 2

Prince should model himself on those bowlers and maybe even develop some power hitting as well Edited July 5 by Nikhil_cric Lone Wolf 1
Nikhil_cric Posted July 5 Posted July 5 All others are at least acceptable but Prince is too short for long format cricket https://x.com/i/status/2068203929297625537 @Lone Wolf Lone Wolf 1

Just target the top of off stump 4 times an over at 147 kph+, with one or two bumpers or yorkers. His seam position and fitness are so good. BacktoCricaddict, Lone Wolf, singhvivek141 and 1 other 4
putrevus Posted July 5 Posted July 5 (edited) Impressive from Brar. I am still flabbergasted that he was not even picked in IPL by any team. How has he not played for India before this year. He should be playing all Odis to prepare for World Cup. Edited July 5 by putrevus BacktoCricaddict 1

He played one game for PBKS some 2-3 years back...was doing well till he bowled a no ball and then free hit costed a six...After that confidence went down. He was a newbie till then with only 3 or 4 FCs under his belt. Last couple of years, he has been bowling everywhere for Punjab and picking wkts. He understands his bowling better and hence the control is there. Punjab was also equally guilty of playing Siddharth Kaul & Baltej Singh type trundlers over him. Once they retired then only he was chosen. Edited July 5 by singhvivek141 express bowling, tweaker and rollingstoned 3
