These things we can't see from scorecard. Hope somebody is there to watch these things. Unless someone else has run through the side on the same wicket we can't really makemuch out of this.

Though Good stuff that both Thakur and Gurnoor had caught behind dismissals of their own. Not a bright idea to win toss and bowl though in SL that too in Galle. Nikhil_cric and express bowling 2
Lone Wolf Posted July 2 Posted July 2 If Yash Thakur can reverse the ball, he will be very handy customer to have in Subcontinent. We know he is sharp and skiddy. Ever since Umesh and Shami are gone we are struggling with our Pacers not knowing how to reverse the ball at will. Even Bumrah we know would barely play 2 test matches per series and won't push himself very hard tweaker and Suhaan 2

He needs to shed a lot of weight.

Ranji is held in winters alot of help for dibbly-dobbly swing bowlers. In domestic cricket top wkt taker are mostly sub 130 kmph bowers or LAS. express bowling and Lone Wolf 2

I still think domestic Indian batsmen are much better than sRilanka's second string team.
express bowling Posted July 2 Posted July 2 Happy that Gurnoor got to bowl 15 overs in a day on a flat deck. This is what builds good bowlers. Mosher, tapandrun and Lone Wolf 3

Let's see so far he is doing alright. He is a condition specific bowler much like low bounce tracks where one needs the ball to skid away at sharp pace. Like how Umesh was. Though Umesh was far more gifted and a kind of a athletic pacer India perhaps won't see in near term. He was gifted with fast twitch muscles Edited July 2 by Lone Wolf express bowling and Mosher 2
