Totally agreed, no point having all that generational wealth... Dude was only 26 could have easily looksmaxxed, got in the best shape of his life, dated foreign chicks and found love in due course.

But guess what  his fault was being a good beta trusting his parents and girls, a toxic boy would have sniffed up her lying @sss in 1 minute

Laws made by boomers gives confidence for such characters to get away with murder.

If a Indian man is wealthy and has options, he should never marry in India or under Indian laws.

looks like ketan saw some red flags with siya , he asked his parents about it .. his parents gave clean chit about her :((

He is dumb to agree to get married to a 18 yr old with a 8 yr age difference. Smart hota to apne umr ka koi dhoondta. Uska kismat ka bad luck hi kharab tha.. it is her parents fault as much as hers

8yr gap is not that big ... also baniyas marry very young

my ex-fiance was 12yrs younger than me :((

 bAch Gaye tum.
I’m not heard of such big age difference among friends and family. Yes in probably richer communities such arranged marriages happen for monetary reasons.

Sad case. Having a double-life, or faking reality, is easier than expected. AI tools will make it worse.  Any dating itself,  & “verification”, “consistency “ of emotions,  is going to a challenge in future.

The girl got good acting skills , to fake her happiness with him constantly , so can’t fault the guy. Even after the killing, the girl played for the sympathy card on her social media page.

It was pretty much his dads money so he couldn’t go against them. Baniyas marry within community. It is effectively a business deal with the couple’s interests being last priority

That’s a unfair take. They weren’t getting married immediately , after their 1-2 meeting. Instead, were having a  prolonged, extensive engagement period.

Enough opportunities to either build the relationship within the arrange-marriage context, or even say no.

She faked all her happiness with him, and her own family.

I'm talking about arrange marriage setting. He didnt find her. Their dads were friends AFAIK.

There's no way guy could have said no unless he found out about her plan or other bf.

Poor guy was trying extra hard to make it work.

That’s what I said, no fault of this guy. Any guy looks for at plenty happiness signals in a relationship, and this girl was showing it consistently. (Now it’s faking by hindsight)

She had plenty of months, time, to call it quits, yet she chose to enjoy the free/easy food, gifts, love, and care.

Yeah but the guy was trying to woo her because of his parents.

Else he could have found someone compatible easily.

Agree he couldnt have seen it coming. Although she tried him to push him previously too but he didnt learn.
