Yeah but the guy was trying to woo her because of his parents.

Else he could have found someone compatible easily.

Agree he couldnt have seen it coming. Although she tried him to push him previously too but he didnt learn.

after her first attempt failed ( she said there was a snake about to bite him and guy was hanging from the branch ),  ketan was actually thanking her for saving his life

Ketan is that bholaa bhaala aadarsh baalak.

Siya is that normal young woman that prefers a charismatic and abusive chapri over a well cultured young man.

Why would someone with so many crores go for such an ordinary looking lady (though he himself was average looking but money compensates for that in many female minds)?

It could have been better to just find a simple girl from a relatively poor family, who would have likely thought herself as lucky to be marrying into a relatively well known family.

None of those involved in the triangle appear to have any appeal or charisma. The lady was probably not losing by picking one or other.  Could have just stayed with what her family arranged.

Case of empty vessels with (family) money.

Don't discount Bollywood's influence on these young people's minds. She might have been inspired by Tabu's character from the movie Andhadhun.

In that movie Tabu also pushes an old woman off the building to get rid of the evidence.

Looks like she took large amount of money from him and gave it to her bf. The bf blew that money away. To avoid returning the money, both the girl and her bf planned the murder.

Clue for young men and women: If you are going for an arrange marriage, spare some amount for private detective investigation.
