Why would a Boston educated MBA settle for a 12th pass 20 year-old girl , hutiya saala mard jaat pe dhabba hain wo Yar, he was from a business family background. Waha education nahi, business relations dekh ke marriage hoti hai...and its going on for years. Similar trend is observed amongst other business families like Shetty's as well. Real culprit here are the girl and maybe her family (if they were aware of the affair).
Bigg Brother Posted July 3 Posted July 3 The parents obviously knew about her affair, but they would have thought she is young, she will settle down and forget the BF once Marriage happens. This is common notion among the parents as even in their days this things have happened, they had some partner during younger days, things didn't work out and they settled down. Now a days, these people don't absolve their previous relationship and get into marrital relationship which is receipe for disaster, you aren't being honest with anyone (ex partner and current partner) with that route. Mental health and conscientiousness is shattered and they resort to lies and ultimately such heinous acts. This guy is rich so his father must have some connections and was able to make the authorised people to investigate otherwise so many such cases go unnoticed.

BacktoCricaddict Posted July 3 Posted July 3 Nothing, absolutely nothing, justifies killing. She could've run away, hurt his feelings, humiliated him (which is also wrong, but at least, he would recover from it)., but she chose the cruelest option. No excuse whatsoever - even if one is a strong critic of all the systemic/institutional issues with arranged marriages etc. Lord 1

jf1gp_1 Posted July 4 Posted July 4 (edited) one thing we need to understand, you will get away with murder if you have even a bit of money. This girl will be out of bail within next 6 months. Boys father can spend whatever he wants to this girl isnt going to jail. Edited July 4 by jf1gp_1 coffee_rules 1
Trichromatic Posted July 4 Posted July 4 Why is this story gaining so much media attention? There would be 100s of cases like this each year, maybe even 1000s.

Quote In India, research shows that around 275 husbands are killed by their wives annually, while an average of 225 wives are murdered by their husbands. In this case they weren't even married. Is this what our freedom fighters fought for? Gandhiji with his painstaking resistance movements, Veer Savarkar spending 15 years at kaala paani, Bhagat Singh giving up his life completely at a young age. All of them endured so that the coming generation thrives and evolves into an advanced society. Edited July 7 by MechEng

What they don't realize is that it is entirely reasonable to condemn a murderer while also being a critic of the "system." There is enough evidence to indicate that she was involved in a high profile crime of conspiring to kill her fiancé while being romantically involved with another person. Her parents would have totally known about it and have forced her into this arranged marriage for sure. Of course, she will get out of jail on technicality that all are continental evidence, but a lot can be used to convict her of a conspiracy to murder and she’ll get a few years in jail and we’ll get out while being young.. Most of the blame will go to her boyfriend who “allegedly” pushed him off the cliff. Edited July 7 by coffee_rules

And no matter what the circumstances, there is no excuse to kill. I tend to be very sensitive to concept of "innocent until proven guilty." I feel that it is the very basis of civil society, because without it, anyone in power could accuse anyone of anything and have them arrested, or public could use vigilante justice based on social media accusations which may actually be false. Let it all play out in court. As for the boyfriend being the one to commit the actual murder, it wouldn't surprise me if, in court, this woman throws him under the bus (not literally, although she has probably contemplated that also :-( ....) coffee_rules 1
