Manucrick Posted June 13 Posted June 13 4 minutes ago, cowboysfan said: is it just me or does FIFA broadcast looks much better than IPL broadcast on TV? you simply cannot compare cricket with a fifa broadcast because cricket looks totally amateur and basic in front of the massive cinematic scale of football Lone Wolf 1

Even in cricket ECB and CA coverage are better although we use slightly more cameras in the IPL if i am right. We used 30 to 40 cameras. FIFA worl cup use 45 cameas.Having said that worl cup coverage has received some criticism. https://www.businesstoday.com.my/2026/06/12/fans-debate-new-world-cup-coverage-as-highlights-and-broadcast-quality-are-questioned/ https://www.the-independent.com/sport/football/fox-world-cup-2026-television-coverage-itv-mexico-south-africa-b2994373.html

Also broadcast in India is an issue, I won't take Zee5 subscription, they are frauds as well as incompetent. Real interest for most casuals will be from KOs. Hope this WC flops, Trump and co. have made this closest to 1936 Berlin. rollingstoned 1

Bigg Brother Posted June 13 Posted June 13 1 hour ago, cowboysfan said: is it just me or does FIFA broadcast looks much better than IPL broadcast on TV? Can't compare FIFA with IPL. Football is global game. They are broadcasting in 4k quality. Only cricket in Australia comes close to this level of broadcasting. Gollum 1

Field hockey is worse where it is tough to spot the ball sometimes, and video referrals have very few camera angles and poor frame rates.

India does have cameras. Flood lights for 4k broadcast you need about 2500 to 3500 lumens. Not sure what they use. Cricket playing area is a significantly bigger than Foot ball playing area. So you might need more cameras than this. Ofcourse playing field is going to be more beautiful in USA.

figo6762 Posted June 13 Posted June 13 Also the demand for high quality broadcasting doesn’t exist .. if the population is exposed to football in the global leagues then they will know the difference and demand .. ppl just don’t care .. forget everything else please get rid of the cheerleaders in IPL looks a cheap dance show in front of a wine shop in India
Austin 3:!6 Posted June 13 Author Posted June 13 This is the same stadium where Rock vs Cena happened in Wrestlemania 29 right? Metlife Stadium of New York
vvvslaxman Posted June 13 Posted June 13 Morocco is dominating the possession. But neither team is threat to each other so far.
Austin 3:!6 Posted June 13 Author Posted June 13 Neymar is like Hardik Pandya. Always injured with something
vvvslaxman Posted June 13 Posted June 13 I am not upto date with any team. Is Brazil a legit contender. So far playing like Dinesh Karthik.
vvvslaxman Posted June 13 Posted June 13 Just 2 passes from the middle. How woeful Brazilian defense was.
