rageaddict Posted July 25 Posted July 25 This Test has draw written all over it, WI produce the dullest pitches for Test Cricket.

If boards are uninterested in this format, just play one off Tests or stop bothering altogether. A "series" should atleast be 3 matches long. Tests are not that commercially viable and teams visiting for 1 game will make no sense, specially now that there are format specific players. 3 tests series means 30 days of cricket which no one is interested in watching , sponsors and broadcasters are not eager for it. 2 tests series means 15-20 days so it likes doubles the number of days for a 2 tests series and 3 tests game series. In those 10-15 days teams can easily play 5-7 white-ball games
Tillu Posted July 26 Author Posted July 26 Apparently the fastest ball bowled till now was 131 kmph. Lord, express bowling, Gollum and 1 other 4
Lone Wolf Posted July 26 Posted July 26 Pakistani Trundlers as expected were pathetic Lord, Gollum and express bowling 2 1
Gollum Posted July 26 Posted July 26 @Lone Wolf Seales always troubles the Pooks, let us see. I expect WI pacers to extract much more out of this pitch, Pook pacers are absolutely raddi if pitch isn't a greentop. If weather doesn't play spoisport, Pooks will have to play out of their skins to escape with a draw here. Lone Wolf and Lord 2

He would have made them dance here. Pakistani batting tbh is actually serviceable compared to their Trundler factory. Their batters know how to play boring cricket. But yes pitch could be very tricky as time goes on. rollingstoned and Gollum 2

They produce enough strokeless wonders. express bowling, Gollum and Lone Wolf 3

I honestly rate their batsmen higher to grind out draws than ours. Our guys lack patience for long form cricket and get impatient if they play few quiet overs. Lord, New guy, Tillu and 1 other 4
Lone Wolf Posted July 26 Posted July 26 Likes of Root and Brook and co will shatter records against this kind of hapless attack... It's a massacre waiting to happen We will witness some legendary stat padding from English batsmen. Tillu, express bowling and Gollum 2 1

Root can score 600 runs in these 3 tests, and SRT's record may fall as early as the India series in early 2028. Edited July 26 by Gollum Lone Wolf, Laaloo, Lord and 1 other 4
