Not sure if it's the mood I'm in or if it's actually the song, but I found the following very touching. It may help if you understand some punjabi. http://www.sitarplayer.net/tabla/rang_gulabee.wav Translated Poem: Autumn colours pink, red and yellow the season of falling leaves is here why do you stay all cooped up inside while nature weaves a tapestry the ancestral trees have sent you an invitation laying out a light-yellow bed tis, the season of colour, busy men sleep while leaves lose their lives Do not be a man be one with nature enjoy my son enjoy the Godliness take off your blinds take off your muzzle sing Megh dance with the squirrel Megh raag was the call of the babeeha (bird) Megh was the company of clouds Megh raag was raindrops falling on the kikkar (tree) Megh is now the colours of the maple The Maple is dressed up as newly-wed Take off my veil, my lover, it sings Why grieve the passing of youthful exuberance When it will be back again next year ---- Written and sung by this this guy: http://evening84.blogspot.com/ -- 1803502274_71b744db55_d.jpg

Havent heard 'Autumn' in a while man...actually forgot what it was:tounge_smile: Used to 'Fall' too much. The translation helped a lot as some of the words were a bit difficult. Good poem. In some places, people dont get to see this extreme change of colours in the leaves. There are people who actually make a trip so that they can specifically witness the wonders of Autumn (fall). Btw, do you witness such changes in the hues of the leaves in Autumn? It can be quite a site to watch and sometimes its worth to stop and admire such beautiful scenery. Reminds me of Need for Speed 3:D And are you in a self-rediscovering mood? If you liked that poem, perhaps you'll like some of Rabbi's songs.
