jf1gp_1
Re: Probable lineup for tomorrow I would prefer VVS playing for one of the bowlers. We need that extra batsman. By the Port Elizabeth what sort of pitch to expect there ?? Link to comment
dhruvdeepak
Re: Probable lineup for tomorrow yeah that is pretty much the team i would select, except i would keep sehwag at 4 and not sachin. also i am undecided on whether agarkar should play or sreesanth Link to comment

The Outsider
Re: Probable lineup for tomorrow Dont think Laxman will make it to SA in time, so thats pretty much the only lineup we can play. Only thing is Agarkar/Sreesanth issue. Agarkar was bowling superbly till recently and should a few failures warrant his dropping or we should show more faith in him to bounce back? Link to comment
maatugaara
Re: Probable lineup for tomorrow hmm..some years back we were praying for a WK who can bat....now we have two in the same team... :chin: Link to comment

The Outsider
Re: Probable lineup for tomorrow Does anyone play two spinners in a facking ODI in South Africa? If you have pace trash like Pathan, Agarkar and co. then I dont see why not. Link to comment
gator
Re: Probable lineup for tomorrow on these pitches mongia and bajji's bowling is the same.... atleast mongia gives a better batting option and does not drift down the leg side.... Link to comment
Count Dooku
Re: Probable lineup for tomorrow Hey Gamb - why not the other Dinesh for Kaif or Karthick? He deserves a longer run but I think guruji doesn't want him and has had Mr Mongia forced on him by the selectors. Link to comment
Gambit
Re: Probable lineup for tomorrow CD, the lineup I posted was from Cricinfo. This would be my lineup: Sehwag Tendulkar Kaif Dhoni Mongia Karthik Jaffer/Raina Pathan Harbhajan Kumble(he did well in the 1st game) Zaheer Link to comment
kabira
Re: Probable lineup for tomorrow Port Elizabeth is perhaps slowest SA pitches...much to the liking of the indians.. we should go with 2 spinners...remember last time we won against SA was when we choked them to the death with spinners.. jf1gp_1
Re: Probable lineup for tomorrow The only way we can win is by attacking SA bowling. Jaffer Mongia Dhoni Tendulkar Sehwag Pathan Karthik Bhaji Kumble sreesanth Zaheer Jaffer should only look for singles give strike to Mongia. Mongia should be given 3 overs to settle and then start hitting till he gets out. Doesnt matter if he makes 5 but he should just hit. Same goes for Dhoni, sachin, sehwag. Forget conserving wickets keep hitting. Bhaji can be replaced by Kaif just in case we are 85/5. Link to comment
