vipin Posted June 14, 2009 Posted June 14, 2009 Jadeja cant be blamed. He is a 20 year old and better batsman than most 20 year olds anywhere in the world. He did whatever he could. Its a collective failure of the young brigade. Rohit , raina , jadeja , ishant all failed at some point or the other.
vipin Posted June 14, 2009 Posted June 14, 2009 O COMMON...check his last 10 Matches he played for India...he tried his ass out but couldnt clear the infield... he is just malnutritioned and thats it !!! Tell me how many times yuvraj used to clear the feild when he was a 20 year old. This guy can atleast hang on without losing his wicket. That ****tard still struggles to even keep his wicket. Why do morons have to keep finding villains and scapegoats. They played as a team , they lost as a team. Accept it.
vipin Posted June 14, 2009 Posted June 14, 2009 4 shortest guys in the team land first up to play short pitched bowls at 145 Ks +. What else was expected but this.
Texy Posted June 14, 2009 Posted June 14, 2009 Jadeja is not suitable for 20/20....maybe ODI...where you don't have to hit as much, but definitely not T20 he is unlucky for Team INdia, whenever he's playing we lose....also the idiot bats like we used in 90s
King Posted June 14, 2009 Posted June 14, 2009 He did his best... give him a break. He hardly got to play in this tourney, get sent at no.4 when 2 quick wickets were down and what did they expect him to do, a miracle? Honestly it was really bad of the team management to ask him to go do the job when he has hardly had a hit.
The Realist Posted June 14, 2009 Posted June 14, 2009 Lay off Jadeja - not to blame at all. Did well bowling while the other so-called strike bowlers could not buy a wicket. He is not a big hitter yet but is young and will come good - not his fault that some of the other senior players were afraid to face the chin music.

The batting order was wrong in nearly all the games
Shane Posted June 14, 2009 Posted June 14, 2009 Looks like Mr. Warts getting multiple orgasms over this, give the kid a break he saved our asses in the field, he will only improve.
graphic23 Posted June 14, 2009 Posted June 14, 2009 Looks like Mr. Warts getting multiple orgasms over this' date= give the kid a break he saved our asses in the field, he will only improve. Since when has that been different?
umpire Posted June 14, 2009 Posted June 14, 2009 I think Dhoni had this philosophy those who are in form they go up in the order. I sawthat in Tri series in Australia. Rohit was in good form he was send up the order, even before out of form Yuvi and that moved paid off Similarly against England, Yuvi was in great form so he sent him at 3. You should always send your in form batsman early. Yuvi should have come at 3.
Guest Gunner Posted June 14, 2009 Posted June 14, 2009 can't really blame jadeja. he can only do what he can do. he bowled well. he's not really a proper batsmen. which genius from the team management decided to send him ahead of Yuvi? :hehe: Dhoni should be given 100 lashes for that decision only. Dhoni's mistake to promote him to #4. WTF was he thinking' date=' Yuvraj in form is held for more than 10 overs. You don't do that. F ucking crap captaincy by A sshole Dhoni...[/quote'] Please contribute your thoughts here: http://www.indiancricketfans.com/showthread.php?t=161219 :--D:--D:--D
The Outsider Posted June 14, 2009 Posted June 14, 2009 Blaming Jadeja is like first asking someone with 20 hours of flying experience on a propeller to fly a F-22 and then blaming him for the crash.
ludhianvi Posted June 14, 2009 Posted June 14, 2009 Sending poor Jadeja at #4 put a lot of pressure on him. I wonder what his role was? Pinch hitter or just to hold one end up. In my opinion, that slot shoud have been used to bring in a pinch hitter. Too much was left towards the end with the Run rate creeping upto 12 runs an over. Cameos are basically what are required in t20 especially up the order. The other problem for India was the top order didnt click in the games that mattered really and never got a boost start to the innings. What now another 2 years until next t20 WC? I would be 2 years older by then :nervous:
