I'm bowled over as well. I had seen this catch in one of star cricket's shows and it was stunning. Taking a look at it again today and it was just an unbelievable catch! How did Sachin manage to take it even when he had to come running from the bounday? Absolutely breathtaking. And thanks for sharing those snippets too.

Tendulkar serach result on google news archives (before 1990) looks brilliant.... I didnt knew that he was reported outside India. This was my very first memory of the man, when it all started for me, the start of my Tendulkar obsession. I can tell you that this teenager can still remember that surge of hope washing over me in an otherwise crushing defeat to England. It has been a privilege without parallel to witness his extraordinary rise first-hand.

Bowled Over :hatsoff: I agree with Goose that this catch never deserved as much attention as it should have, not only because it was a superb but also because it was in exhibition of the teenage energy and it introduced somebody special to world cricket. Even after following whole Sachin's career so closely, I wasn't really aware of this catch until few years back.
