 heard 2 of his fantastic songs ofcourse, teri mitti, mann bhareya(probably shed a tear or two watching it in the movie, as some of us) ...he sings with a lot of emotion/feel. This is his most admirable thing imo....right when i think about it , it does sound like daler mehndi. nice catch.

yes. It is rumored this song was about Edie Sedgwick  who briefly dated Bob Dylan. She was a socilite turned actress who hailed from  a wealthy family. She ended up ruining her life with drugs, substance abuse eventually succumbed to overdose at the age of 28.
