Tillu Posted August 8, 2025 Posted August 8, 2025 Andre Antunes a metal guitarist made the Nooran sisters popular all over the world by providing music to their songs in the background. The Nooran sisters are metal without even knowing what metal music is.

People made fun of his nasal singing but Himesh Reshammiya was a good music director, made some great chartbusters during his time. Edited August 9, 2025 by Tillu singhvivek141 and randomGuy 2

Saw the Telugu dubbed Tamil version two times in a theatre. Later saw the Hindi version also on TV. If we remove flashbacks, this is the first of its kind non-linear screenplay for an Indian movie. Mani Ratnam extracted the best out of Surya, Ajay Devgn, Madhavan, Abishek Bachchan, Siddharth, Vivek Oberoi, Trisha and Kareena Kapoor. It was probably the first critically acclaimed performance for Abhishek Bachchan as Lallan Singh. Madhavan also who used to do Romantic movies till then was pretty believable as a street side hooligan. It's still one of my favourite movies. Loved the performance for this song at the Berkelee college of music as well. All songs from Yuva are still pretty good. Mariyam 1
Mariyam Posted August 11, 2025 Posted August 11, 2025 @Tillu Madhavan has the distinction of playing the part time thug part time IT professional in the nauseatingly romantic Rehna Hai Tere Dil Mein. IDK if that counts as a tough guy role. coffee_rules and Tillu 1 1

IDK if that counts as a tough guy role. There was another "not so famous" movie of Madhavan...on a Kashmiri kid becoming a football sensation. There too Madhavan played an extremely serious and tough guy role of an army officer....dont remember the movie name but it came out in 2008-09 I guess. Edit: just remembered, that movie name was Sikandar. It came in 2009. Edited August 11, 2025 by singhvivek141 Mariyam 1

Madhavan has a diverse character portrayal over time and has emerged as an actor like many others like Saif/Akshaye Khanna etc. His portrayal as a Boxing coach of a femal boxer he is trying to mentor (she falls in love with him) in Saala Kahdoos. He has played a Khadoos character pretty good. Edited August 11, 2025 by coffee_rules Mariyam 1
