Tillu Posted August 30, 2025 Posted August 30, 2025 "Jaat Kahan Ho" sung by Kesar Bai Kerkar in 1935 was one of the 27 tracks curated by NASA on a disc which was sent on the Voyager 1 mission in 1977. The aim of this effort is to inform the extra terrestrial beings to learn about the diverse cultures on planet Earth if and when we reach them. Jaat Kahan Ho means "Where are you going alone, girl". vvvslaxman Posted August 31, 2025 Posted August 31, 2025 One of the less celebrated song from MJ's collection. But my go to song for mood change. Tillu 1
vvvslaxman Posted September 8, 2025 Posted September 8, 2025 (edited) Lot of original producers of songs are releasing songs with enhanced audio & video quality. I bumped into Kandukondein kandukondein movie scenes in Ayngaran recently. The made me watch one of my favorite song from that movie One of the top 5 songs sung by KS Chithra. Also Aishwarya rai never looked more beaitufl in any other movie. Probably her best performance as an actress. May be the character suited her very well. Also one of the best ARR's composition. She is gorgeous in this scene Edited September 8, 2025 by vvvslaxman

But in a way it is good. Probably would have ruined it. Ajith-Tabu chemistry was next level. coffee_rules 1

By the way sense and sensibility. Elinor Dashwood / Sowmya Elinor Dashwood: Embodies practicality and restraint, prioritizing her family's well-being over her own desires. Sowmya: Also prioritizes her family and endures personal difficulties with calmness, reflecting traditional Indian womanhood and the "sense" in the title. Marianne Dashwood / Meenakshi Marianne Dashwood: Represents the "sensibility" of the title, being emotional, impulsive, and romantic. Meenakshi: An emotional and passionate character, but she also embodies the aspirations and desires of a modern Indian woman, challenging social restrictions to seek her true love. Supporting Character Parallels Manohar (Ajith): The ambitious, slick production assistant who aims to become a film director, similar to Edward Ferrars but with more modern challenges. Major Bala (Mammootty): The older, honorable character who wins Meenakshi's heart, much like Colonel Brandon in the novel. Srikanth (Abbas): The charismatic businessman whho also competes for Meenakshi's affection, similar to John Willoughby. Edited September 9, 2025 by vvvslaxman coffee_rules and Mariyam 1 1
