He is the sole reason for many of the recent blockbusters. Coolie is the only movie I remember him using rap music. He is very popular in the Telugu states as well. His bgms are highly popular on YouTube.

Young Female lead and an significantly aged male lead is still common. Prem Uncle Phir Aayo is a recent example. But this was different, Akshay Khanna was lookinh like a young kid back then.
