+1 mate. CWG delhi has been shamed due to Times Now and Arnab Goswami. World media picked up the negative stuff initially from indian media only. Its abt time they become serious and credible.

Indian media is disgraceful. There are sensationalistic, yellow journalism sections in all world media, but our entire media with one or two notable exceptions is a rag. Nothing, absolutely nothing can be believed from what comes out of our media houses. This isn't just limited to sansanikhej khabrein on TV, but also the print media. The only thing saving them is the close to non existent and very difficult to implement libel laws in India. Just look at the above garbage which they have made up. It is incredulous from the start. Australian athletes shouting slogans against Tendulkar? WTF! Even in the remotest of chances that the Australian athletes were chanting cricket related slogans at the Commonwealth Games against their cricket team, why Tendulkar and not their own team. 'Editor sahab, sansani kisme zyaada aayegi, Tendulkar mein na!' The standard of journalism keeps reaching a new nadir everyday.

Wont disagree with you at all about the incredible lows both our TV as well as print media has reached for the sake of TRPs. There are only two news channels which does not sensationalize news to that extent and the sad part is that both are quite less popular. One is Sahara news and it is perhaps the only channel which does not create news for TRP at all and the second one is Zee News which caters to TRP but to a very mild extent. The saddest part is that the most popular English news channels and the most popular print and web news like TOI are some of the most prominent sources of yellow journalism.

"Aussies on rampage" Arnab Goswami and his gang of rabblerousers at Times Now trying their best to convert this into a national issue. What a bunch of idiots. They had a phone in program running from 7 PM-8 PM today to discuss this issue and when one of the elderly callers started saying "Do you think this is as big an issue? Why are you not showcsing what our athletes did in the last 14 days?Why not a program on volunteers? why not something on the culutral events and groups that performed at the Games Village for these 2 weeks"? As expected, Arnab asked the line to be cut!!
