...of pujara and kohli. Facing a impossible task, they didn't just hit the ball into the air and just disappear as the norm in the bad old days. They tried to come up with the best possible shot to a given delivery on merit and kept their wits . Its alright to say a player is talented in biomechanics.but "cricketing intelligence" is something very important to success . Its very heartening to know these youngster think about how they go about their business and laid emphasis on good decisions than get carried away a by steep run rate. These youngsters have also shown they try hard to place the ball than a brute fatalistic attempt into the stands. That's the reason we are seeing quite a few younger people succeed today in the IPL. Now if they can sit hard and think about combatng the short ball in non asian conditions, they are going even further. extremely healthy signs for batting in the next decade.

I Like the look of Rahul Sharma, the tall leg spinner, he turns the ball as well as gets good bounce and is accurate enough to trouble batsman on 4-5th day test pitch...Mishra is bowling well too...he has improved quite a lot in the gap

Can't agree more with the OP. They played very well. good to see Pujara breaking out of his "test player image" playing limited overs is a good to add to his shot making (similar to how dravid started coming down the order as a WK and hitting out with good strikerate). Pujara should open once Dilshan goes and play in Sachin/Kallis mode. Kohli played a very good knock - if only he had got some support from the top order he very much looked like taking the team home but 20 rpo was finally impossible
