The teams which do well in IPL are the ones which have a strong core of Indian players. PK check that box. They have Priyansh, Prabhsimran, Iyer and Nehal Wadhera as top 4. Then they have Shashank lower down the order and Arshdeep as the pacer. That's a pretty strong core which is complemented by foreign players, which is what it should be. Plus Iyer has stepped up his game since last year. First he led KKR to IPL win in 2024, was the back-bone of our batting in CT and bilateral series before that, and has continued to do so at IPL leading from the front. crictime 1
crictime Posted April 2, 2025 Posted April 2, 2025 Finally PB realized Jordan was a death bowler whose skills never worked in IPL as seen by his performances in IPL, although shocking they had erred in the first place by picking him. Releasing him saved an important foreign slot.
