If Punjab wins, selectors would be left with egg on their faces. I doubt they care though but the guy who has taken 3 downtrodden teams (DC, KKR, PBKS) to pinnacle in 3 consecutive years deserves to be given a leadership role.

 

And we've seen that it was Iyer coz as soon as Iyer left those teams (DC, KKR), they're back to laying eggs. Iyer is the one who makes the team better and brings all the players together. He deserves a lot more credit than he gets.
