Ram Posted April 23, 2014 Posted April 23, 2014 This has been 'Punjab's year' for close to a DECADE now. :phehehe:
I6MTW Posted April 23, 2014 Posted April 23, 2014 Punjab shouldn't peak now. They should lose a couple of games and then towards the business end, they should start winning. Then they can carry their form to the playoffs and win the cup.
I6MTW Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 Worried about India leg. KXIP shouldn't start failing here.
Old guy Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 Worried about India leg. KXIP shouldn't start failing here. I was more worried about UAE This bowling attack will work well in mohali and so will this batting side even chepu will be useful on tracks with movement and Johnson was picked specifically for this who has been handicapped until now cos of tracks IMO

Only Mohali will suit fast bowlers and to an extent Jaipur and Bangalore. Rest are all suitable for spinners, and KXIP has only 1 spinner.

Old guy Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 Even Delhi might help seamers because of their current team While chennai,Kolkata are always slow dry tracks and Hyderabad is mostly spin friendly but it can help even pacers
I6MTW Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 Mohali,Jaipur,Mumbai all help quick bowlers And they play half matches in mohali ... Mumbai's pitch depends day-to day. Sometimes it's a spinning track, sometimes it is a track with pace and bounce. I agree Mohali will suit them.

RCB posted 215/1 and that total was almost chased by DD. Can't depend on Hyderabad Pitches.
Old guy Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 Am talking about Mumbai ...one of my favourite track in India
I6MTW Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 It always has bounce even when it's dry because of soil they use even in tests :two_thumbs_up: In IPL, it has usually been a slow and low pitch, iirc.

I6MTW Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 Am talking about Mumbai ...one of my favourite track in India Mumbai has been unbreached last year. MI won every single game.
Old guy Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 In IPL' date=' it has usually been a slow and low pitch, iirc.[/quote'] All I remember is Johnson blowing off sides and kulkarni getting huge out swing
