Ultimate_Game Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 Relax' date='we got this.[/quote'] Still hurts that we can't even put away a poor Kiwi side at home easily
Old guy Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 Nothing will happen even if we lose unfortunately. They will just drop yadav and carry on as if our senior batsmen aren't responsible. We should have leart the incompetence of our selectors by now surely? Honestly all I am hoping is at least Dhoni has the guts to promote Kohli ahead of sachin. Unfortunately I don't think he has it either dont worry he will chicken out tomorrow and kohli and pujara will finish the match
Old guy Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 Still hurts that we can't even put away a poor Kiwi side at home easily we didnt..even back in good days :giggle: domination was never our thing
asterix Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 Ask Dhoni to step down and request Chin-Chin to lead the team and not doing 'leadh' like a horse while batting.. Sala yeda ban ke peda kha raja hain... Lead the effing team and effing 'enjoy'...

Unfortunately I don't think he has it either That would be a huge mistake. Even if they drop Yadav it should be if selectors organize some sort of boot-camp for him where he can iron out his deficiencies. He's the closest to intl bowler we have along with Ishant and he has to be handled properly. I don't want him to be summarily dropped. I want selectors to work with him and chalk out a plan, including Joe Dawes/NCA/MRF academy, so that Umesh is ready for the 2013 SA series.
Old guy Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 do u know the problem is ? normal cricket fans (most of my frnds ) think india is in gr8 form after asia cup ,sri lanka series, ipl and now first test win and all of them think we are favourites in world t20 too so maybe we all think there is gr8 pressure on dhoni.. truth is not many people care he won world cup..:wall:
carnish Posted September 2, 2012 Author Posted September 2, 2012 ok now im worried :nervous: You really think I can jinx our Mahaan Superstars??
Sidhoni Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 Nobody can be promoted ahead of the "God". Thats the sad part of Indian cricket.
Sidhoni Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 I hope they send Kohli at 4 in the chase. :cantstop: There's more chance of Pietersen and Strauss sharing a sauna session :cantstop:

Old guy Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 people actually dont care much abt test cricket :dontknow:
GautiMaan Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 Already virat and pujara have shown that they can fill the boots of RD and VVS.So who is to say that Rahane/Rohit will not be able to do a better job than sachin in his current form

Sidhoni Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 http://livesport4u.com/stream3.html I know its off-topic but important. Watch Nehru Cup Final between India vs Cameroon. 2-2 in FT and ET. Now we are set for Shoot-out!
yoda Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 250+ in 4th innings is never an easy chase anywhere.
Ultimate_Game Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 didnt watch match today..how did he bowl..? from cric info commentry it seems he got some swing ? His problem is not swing or that he's not good. He is not that consistent. Period. The day he is consistent and learns to control his line and length I have no doubt in my mind he will be a sub-26 averaging bowler. That's why he needs to be handled properly and not summarily dropped. Yes, he should take a break from intl cricket to improve but the plan has to be communicated to him and he has to work with BCCI and other academies/coaches to get better.
Raghav_12 Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 Yes, blame the captain when the top order can't do jack shyte and the no. 4 batsman can only "enjoy the game" but not score anything. Dhoni is the reason we are still in this game yet coz if he had done what others had done we would have lost already. There's a differnce between holding someone accountable and scape-goating but seriously at the moment Tendulkar fans simply want to blame all and sundry for Tendulkar's failings and blame Dhoni for all ills. E.g., for this Test what could Dhoni have done differently? Were his bowling change not decent, did he drop sitters, did he not contribute with the bat? So why should he be responsible? Just because we have 40 year old has-beens who can't do shyte even against kiwis at home and get clean bowled like an amateur? See this, If Dhoni had done something to suport Sachin in this match, australian summer would have been diffrent altogether. http://www.espncricinfo.com/australia-v-india-2011/engine/match/518950.html We would have something which Sahcin promised with his performance http://www.espncricinfo.com/australia-v-india-2011/content/story/547057.html But what we saw, a person who was rated at 0.5 out of 10, still dictating terms without showing any sign of accountability and culling at other end continues, with Badrinath being groomed in place of Laxman. Points out of Ten (Performance in Australia) Kohli 6.5, Sachin - 5, Dravid 2, Laxman 1, Dhoni 0.5 http://www.espncricinfo.com/australia-v-india-2011/content/story/551482.html
BeautifulGame Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 This. If we cant beat Kiwis at home' date=' responsibility needs to be taken at the top and Dhoni should resign.[/quote'] Two questions? Who should replace Dhoni as captain ? Do u really think a new captain ( Say Kohli ) could change any potential outcome if we continue to have 3 of the top 4 (senior batsmen to boot too) continue to be passengers too. I too want Dhoni to be replaced as test captain too before someone calls me a Dhoni fanboy .But if u replace Dhoni as captain we need to drop the seniors. Otherwise whoever the captain we will continue to lose until these seniors are either dropped or start to perform. If Dhoni is replaced before seniors are dropped all that will happen is people will be calling the head of next captain within a couple of series
