Good but Chile will be easy pickings in the next round and Netherlands the force
Are you stupid? Chile gave a masterclass in how to play with high intensity, high pressure and their endless energy from all of their players should strike fear into many teams. They may not possess the individual talent that other teams do, but their collective work is so good it makes up with that. Anyone who rules Chile out as a small team knows nothing about the sport. If anything the performance today like 4 years ago, showed Chile are a very very good team.

How can anyone not like Chile with their enthusiasm that starts from the unbelievable passion in their Anthem. Have you seen any team or country sing the national anthem in such a way? The first time I saw it was Zamarano in 98, that will live with me forever.

No pace or urgency in Spanish side. Iniesta aside everyone below their best. Casillas should never have started. There is a lot of excellent young talent so this is not the end, but some of those younger guys should have made this squad- Alonso, Xavi, Casillas - all past their best. Koke should have started. Isco and Illaremndi will be established internationals soon- but need regular club game time. Shame for them that Navas is out. Has to be said also that Negredo or Llorente should have been in this squad.

Spain didn't change their tactics at all in last 6 years. Even in the last world cup they were exposed that how they keep possession for long time but couldn't score and barely managed to scrap through with 1 goals each game.
