Speeds and Performances of Pacers and Spinners

Recommended Posts

The quicker Australian pacers, Starc and Cummins, have been very expensive too. Especially Starc.

We have to evaluate Bumrah and Saini's  performances in this light too. The pitch is not suited for quick bowling.

Now Starc and Cummins may get some cheap wickets later on due to the huge score they have put up I.e advantage of scoreboard pressure ... as we will try to hit every ball. Which is why I am pointing this out in the middle of the innings.

Apart from Shami, nobody is a wickettaker. He was badly missed in NZ. And unfortunately even he is looking lethargic, from the back end of IPL his speeds have dropped.

Bumrah is played out by most opposition, Chahal is underperforming massively and the third seamer is still not a fix. We need an X factor player to add to this lot.

Horrible fielding by the Indian off this Bumrah over

First Chahal drops a catch off Smith

Next ball an easy ball missed by Mayank and a 1 run becomes a 4.

Earlier Dhawan dropped an easy catch off a spinner.

this is always the problem with Indian teams, just lack core atheletic ability. Chahal for sure the guy looks like a malnourished nerd.
