Saini is pulling the team down. Dont see why he should be in the team for the next game. He needs to be given a chance but unless the ODI series is just a preparation for Test series for India, I dont see why he deserves a chance in Australia.

Not a single bouncer has been bowled to Smith, who has a weakness against short balls, especially early on.

 

This is either poor planning or lack of intent or both.

This tells me that this team is just going through the motions and don't have any real will to play or win.

Indian Team is now India XI like World XI or Asia XI of 90s, a manufactured team out of real IPL teams.

While Saini is raw and new, the other two leads in Bumrah and Shami dont seem to be skillful enough on these Aussie pitches.. Bumrah's novelty of 2016/2018 is gone now. He is analyzed,dissected more than a mice in a lab. Lost to Kiwis hopelessly and this abject surrender to Aussies. The wheels are coming off quick and fast.  BCCI needs to quickly arrange tours to Srilanka/Bangladesh and Zimbabwe.

[Straight Drive]

At times it feels what's the use of taking wickets after batsmen are scoring 100's and 50's. But then it saves some face. What could have been 425 is 380 with those wickets.The bowling is pathetic to say the least. We are on verge of losing 5 successive ODI's and bowling is to take huge blame.
