Fastest Deliveries I have seen by Indian Pacers in IPL 2022  (  rounded off )

Umran           157 kph

Mohsin         151 kph

Prasidh         150 kph

Tyagi             150 kph

Saini             149 kph

Shami           149 kph

Sen               149 kph

Bumrah        148 kph

Siraj              148 kph

Mavi             148 kph  (  one off delivery)

Nagarkoti     146 kph

Simarjeet     146 kph

Harshit         146 kph

Khaleel         145 kph or 90 mph

Umesh          144 kph

Avesh           144 kph

Hardik          144 kph

Akashdeep  144 kph

Apart from Mavi, Mohsin and Shami, all others have bowled close to their fastest balls many many times.

Shami and Mohsin's usual fastest have been around 145 k/144 k  .... Mavi has not crossed 142 k apart from that ball

14  Indian quicks have crossed 90 mph or 144.8 kph

4  Indian quicks have touched or crossed 150 kph

10 Indian quicks have bowled at 148 kph or higher. This is very high pace.

And this is the really impressive part.

This year's IPL gives us clear indication that Indian quicks will be quicker, taller and more skilful in the coming days and years. And their numbers will increase.

The pitches have to be lauded too ... which have encouraged the quicks to bowl flat out.  And the pitches have also helped good spinners and good batsmen. They have been the complete package.

If we keep on producing these kinds of bouncy pitches in the future, we will get lots of good quick bowlers and good wrist spinners.

yes, this is the way to get all-conditions quicks and all-conditions spinners; not iffy finger-spinners who primarily thrive on raging turners at home and go missing in the likes of SA.

Of the names mentioned - Prasidh, Shami, Bumrah, Saini etc. are known quantities.

Much more interested in the development of Umran, Mohsin, Sen, Tyagi, Mavi and Nagarkoti.

Tyagi is the stand out prospect for tests. Mavi's action had fallen off in recent times and there was an age controversy as well.

Dont know much about Mohsin.

As long as they are all their legitimate ages, e should get something out of all of them in 1 format or the other.

tyagi prasidh umran for both tests and odi.

ummie for t20 too.

sen for tests and t20

nohsin for LOI only

avesh for LOi only

mavi for tests and t20

nagarkoti tests - could be a decent AR option.

Random videos popping up on YouTube that Umran bowled 163.7 in the nets. Clickbait or truth?

given iffy speed gun readings, it is possible that the reporting is "accurate" but the reading itself may not be so

DHYAAN SE DEKH 163.7 WALA PHOTOSHOP HAI, so evident

I dont know tbh. But he did touch 157 at 22 which is insane. He is strongly built. I would like to see it happen in the s.africa series. Then maybe I will be convinced. I am sure he can hit 159 160. But not 163 yet.

Looks legit, requires common sense to figure out. Who is the Delhi left armer who was bowling briskly in the nets, anyone knows

Probably one of Kuldip Yadav, Khejroliya or Rohit Shyokand

Shastri's preferred 11 for today features Bhuvi, Harshal and one among Arshdeep and Umran. Umran seemed liked an afterthought.

Basically he is happy if an all trundler attack is fielded too. No wonder we did poorly in white ball cricket under him.

He is happy with no wicket taking bowlers upfront as well as a full-trundler attack.
