Indian bowlers gave away 150 runs for 0 wickets in the last 10 overs.

Yes, SA bowlers were poor too but our bowlers had the added advantage of their huge total creating massive pressure.

Yet, we almost lost this game after scoring 237.

Our bowling  has become totally dependent on swing and surface grip. And our death bowling is very non-dependable.

Not good !

We all along know this issue and its going to be the reason we might get kicked out next month. No total is safe with the current Trundlers. The current bowling unit capable of conceding 260 or more if aggressive team like England, WI hitters, Oz start hitting from start.

Add Even NZ to the list

I don't think SA have deviated from their bowling plan to use in Australia. They are using the same bowling plan on Indian pitches. It is obviously not working on these pitches but I don't think they care.

When none of Rabada, Nortje, Ngidi and Parnell are able to do anything - it means they are all trying the same ineffective stuff. In Aus Parnell will probably be replaced by Jansen. We all know the Perth pitch will not behave as the Guwahati pitch and the Kookaburra will not be like the SG. Balls in the hitting arc here will be quicker/bouncier off the deck and not in the hitting arc there.

Kuldip Sen gets Pujara again with extras bounce

That was a great ball. Pitched in the channel and a bit of away seam movement and extra bounce. Pujara had to play it. Sen's 1st wicket was good to watch too. Full and fast inswinger cleaning up the batsman. Sen has been very good in this spell today. Pace, bounce and moving the ball both ways.

No peak is daunting enough for our trundler brigade, at this rate it's likely that they will be first T20 unit to concede 300 runs.

Bhai these all news are great to hear, we definitely need a tall pacer in red ball to replace Ishant, advantage is he is a good with white ball as well.
Any idea about speeds, hopefully he sticks to 137-143 range which is like 140-147 in Internationals.

Pressure is no longer longer real thing in chasing . Teams actually prefer chasing. Conditions were good for batting but that 2nd half of 2nd innings war particularly harsh for bowlers.

Our bowling has quite a few flaws but today's pitch won't tell us much.

Lol we lost Asia Cup and wt20 inspite of scoring respectable total. If one can't realise that Bhuvi, harshal and chahal are mental midget and mediocre bowlers inspite of their regular thrashing not sure what else would required. I am surprised fans still defend them, ican guarantee if chahal and Bhuvi played yesterday in place of Arshdeep and Axar we would have lost the match.

I think we should try to make tall quicks our default choice .... instead of just one tall quick in place of Ishant.

Medium height or Short quicks should be allowed only if they are exceptional like Bumrah, Shami or Umran

Umran was poor this morning. Did not try to bowl to a plan. Bowled poor lengths in his first 3 overs. Mostly just back of a length instead of good length or genuine bouncers.

In his next 2 overs he just tried to attack the stumps but pushed the ball down the leg side.

Hardly saw any channel ball.

Bowled 2 good bouncers later on.

He must practice bowling channel balls instead of this crap.

Agree, only problem is the batting ability is missing amongst tall pacers. Kuldeep, Tyagi, Mohsin, Khaleel, Prasidh all are duds with the bat. Only Rajvardhan is there who is tall, fast and can bat as well.
If we can get him in the system quickly and slot at 8, we can play 3 pacers (or 2 pacers + 1 spinner) at 9-11.

Mohsin, Tyagi and Saini are decent batters.

Umran was so good in the 1st innings and bowled such lovely channel balls .... I don't know why he changed his plan in the 2nd innings.

If you attack the stumps then it has to be off stump and not leg stump.

Every pacer's game has to be built around the top of off stump ball / channel ball, no matter how quick he is.
