Watch out for Girish Kumar Reddy from Andhra. He is 145k.

When he joins our main team which will be when he turns 30, he will be forced to drop speed to suit drav ball and royally tactics.

He will be made to be injury prone.

Hardik and Shardul looked a level better than Mukesh and Umran.

Mukesh looked a shade slow though his line n length was fair but if he cannot increase his pace- he won't be picked to represent INDIA for sure.

I am not sure what Umran is doing- he has not been able to pick wickets and is giving runs too. if he does not improve fast he will be representing his state and not INDIA for sure.

But he fits the criteria.

Short ish

Trundler speed not yet reached. 135 145 now. Still too fast

He just needs to fix line and length and bowl 130-135 he should be in the side soon

I did not see the second innings, I only watched first ten over of the match. Hangerekar was not able to extract any movement or bounce.

I saw Harshit bowling against Pakistan A but he was not able to generate much bounce there nor he had much movement.

While their guy bounced out Sai.

Yes one game should decide their fate.

Should be dropped permanently now.

doesnt look 145 to me,

prithviraj yarra was their quickest

He is another suspicious omission from domestics, a left armer who can bowl at high pace, has good stats in all 3 formats. Yet can't find a place in weak team like Andhra consistently.

SZ is dominated by TN, KA. With very less players from AP, hyderabad and Kerala.

He is faster. Clocking 140-147 on Stalker Sports Radar. Video you posted is older, last year's.

Ok, so everyone apart from Umran is responsible for his shitty bowling.
Got it

If you look at India's recent pace bowling history, you will get the picture.

Ishant and Umesh were below par bowlers till 2014 and Shami was just about ok.

Then came Kohli, Arun and Shastri ... and the same pacers became good and then really good. All average in the low 20s in the last few years in tests.

Bumrah was like a super-hero in Kohli-Arun-Shastri"s tenure.

Then, the same super bowlers were not able to defend high scores in SA and England under Dravud -Rohit- Mhambrey.

What does this tell us ????

Any one who has bowled with effort knows that Fast bowling is an extreeeemly taxing activity. Pacers often feel that they will fall down and die in hot conditions. There are constant niggles, pain, exhaustion and even major injuries.

What keeps them going are constant encouragement and a positive team environment for fiery wicket taking bowling.

If they are treated as unwanted or their bowling with effort and pace are not appreciated then what is left are the exhaustion, pain and niggles.

Most Indians don't understand this and this why we did not get good quicks.  Kohli, Arun and Shastri were among a few who understood this and got the results.

Leave it. Preaching to the choir boys now.

They are all useless. These trundler fans, dravidiot and fatro.

Let's hope they just crash and burn so hard. Another 9 0 would be beautiful.

Then eventually we can banish these trundlers for life. That's the only hope.

We need some absolut thrashings. Like first round ko everywhere. Lose at home too.

Until we have a captain that endorses fast bowling like kohli did we won't reach the heights we did under him ever again

Sure we made some poor selection calls in icc tournaments with kohli and yes we lost the wtc due to bad prep and injuries, but the team at times looked unpalatable when the bowlers were in form. Fiery spells from all 3 4 bowlers. Intimidating bowling. Good set ups etc.

Ever since dravidiot took over, we have gone back early 90s level in every department.

Useless guy.

Rightly said bro. Great post. :nice:

In India fast bowlers are treated like 2nd class citizens and batsmen like God. Fast bowlers need all the encouragement they can get and a positive environment around them especially when one serious injury can derail their careers. It takes a special mindset to keep bowling fast and that too on the unresponsive pitches in India. Mad respect to all Indian fast bowlers who kept bowling fast even after many injuries. :hatsoff:
