What do you think about Tyagi? is he a thinking bowler?

I think he's a thinking bowler for his age group or u19 boys, as he did there

He needs to play more games with big boys/men ,who play with the psychology of bowlers, need him to develop response based on situation and what is needed

He certainly lacks cricket game time experience, sitting on sidelines will harm him big time, that buffer time has already passed

Now every moment is crucial for him,he needs to utilise it from second to second

How he evolves will decide Indian cricket's future in this decade

He needs to develop the nip backer like siraj, looks one dimensional with only outswing ,apart from his lack of accuracy . Also if he can't bowl with new ball then needs to develop the full pace legcutter like broad or even ishant these days.

Yes , but for all this he needs to play more first class cricket. Surprising to see him  not even playing a single Ranji trophy game this season

Partly his fault as well, not bowling that well. Can't take the new ball, can't bowl yorkers, can't bowl properly .Loose quickish balls aren't going to win the day.

Probably on a quick pitch he might surprise the batsman, otherwise he is a sitting duck.

Tyagi was bowling much better in SMAT and VHT.

He is having issues in this IPL because he is transitioning to his old action.

While it's true that he hasn't been performing up to his usual standards, it's important to remember that cricket is a team sport, and individual performances can be influenced by various factors. It's not entirely fair to place all the blame on him. However, it is evident that his bowling hasn't been as effective lately. His inability to take the new ball, bowl yorkers consistently, and maintain accuracy are certainly areas that need improvement. Loose quickish balls won't help the team's cause either. Perhaps, on a fast pitch, he might be able to catch the batsman off guard and make an impact. Nevertheless, in his current form, it seems like he's an easy target for the opposition. It's crucial for him to work on his skills and regain his confidence to contribute positively to the team's success

It seems that Tyagi's performance in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy (SMAT) and the Vijay Hazare Trophy (VHT) was impressive, indicating that he was bowling well during those tournaments. However, in the current Indian Premier League (IPL), he appears to be facing some challenges due to transitioning back to his old bowling action. Transitioning to a previous technique or action can sometimes disrupt a player's rhythm and effectiveness. It is possible that this adjustment is affecting Tyagi's performance in the IPL. Players often need time to adapt and regain their form when making changes to their technique. It remains to be seen how Tyagi will progress and whether he will be able to overcome these issues.

Yes, this was my point too.

Kartik had better performance in VH trophy with 10 wickets in 5 games at 23. in SMA, he had 6 wickets.

He should make himself available for FC games, can't just avail himself only for List A and T20.

Likes of Ankit Rajpoot, Ruturaj Singh and Aniket Choudhary are hogging the places despite knowing that they have no chance of getting selected in International team. :wall: He can move and play from Arunachal Pradesh or Manipur where they can play the dual role of coach as well.
