Lol batting rehn de yarr...  Shaheen is better batsman than him.  That guy doesn't even has a half decent batswing.  Saw him multiple times with bat.

That Zim WC game was pure lol

I mean thats what the verdict is. Id obviously pick Arshad.

Nope Umran has bowled around 155 in Int'l cricket.  I have seen Rauf hovering around 130ish in home series vs Aus.

As I said Umran has played very little cricket compared to Rauf and much younger than him.  So there is confidence & lack of issue as well.

Visibly It is clear he may bowl faster on average than him.  He is all over the place that's different matter.

Rauf has bowled consistent 148 plus kph spells in odi's. Check out his spells vs the windies odi 2022.

He plays all year around, so it is understandable if there are games where his speed isnt always at its max.

His full effort deliveries are near the 155 range.

Clicked 155 vs england last year and this year's PSL.

Umran is someone who has a very efficient momentum sequencing with a balanced runup and action.

Rauf though is an absolute freak becausr he generates very momentum from the runup with his short bustly strides and sometimes even decelerates before release, yet bowls that quick without getting injured.

Had he worked with a better bowling coach who could have fixed his run up, he had a fair shot at 160 kph.

I don't think anyone is denying that Rauf is fast, it's just than Umran is a natural athelete who was bowling 157 kph last year IPL and clocked 156 & 155 in limited international games. Umran has serious potential to clock 160k which even Shoaib acknowledged but he doesn't get the support from TM.

Kartik Tyagi is another genuine quick who consistently bowls in 144-150 range with fastest around 151/152 in IPL so far, you might remember him coz he played U-19 WC in 2020 along with Yashasvi where he was bowling accurate Yorkers at 138-144 kph.

However, unlike Pakistan who picks fastest bowlers first & then work in them, India go in reverse gear and reject the fastest ones. Last T20 WC our quickest was Pandya who clocked 145, and he is an allrounder.

Rauf has movement also with pace.Umran lacks movement. Some people keep blaming Indian TM but how about blaming the bowler for a change first for not showing any improvement.

Rauf is top notch in white ball, quick accurate and has variations that confuses batters.

He can bowl ~150 kmph and without changing his action he can break to 125 kmph, also he has good bouncer and yorker.

To come from a scouting talent to become top notch fast bowler is something to appreciate.

Since 2019 donot know how all pak bowlers have increased their pace.  before that Rauf was not hitting 150s that often or 145+ for that matter.

But now he is 145-150 kmph bowler.

Rauf's top speed was 152kph not 155 as claimed by Pak posters..  Similar top speed in Asia Cup before that.

Bhai, mujhse fast bowling pe argue naa kiya kro. Ye lo evidence. Secondly, in the Asia cup Rauf's fastest was 153, not 152.

Umran clocked 156 in international and he has barely played 25 international games.

That delivery was registered at 145 on the english broadcast and cricinfo.

im not trying to say he cant bowl that pace but that was clearly not right, like that 164 kph from Sami

Pandua was fastest from both sides that day only behind Rauf

Naseem clocked 148 kph in that very tournament and Muhammad Wasim clocked 147 koh. Haris ki average speed was quicker than indian bowlers. Yeh kis kisam ka argument hai lol
