So last match against an associate team and we’ve got Deshpande and Mukesh as the pacers??

Ew no wonder I don’t feel like watching this team. Glad I’m not wasting my time on this mediocrity.

You still want pant in T20s

Other keeper is Samson in backup..if Samson improves keeping he may get in..but Pant is like maxwell for me..I wont give him responsibility of buliding innings of number 3 and wont rely on him..just go out there and play the way he wants be it 0 or 30/40 in quick time..

Abhishek can bowl, now he has to learn the finer art of bowling the correct lengths on different surfaces.

Yes slightly better execution, saw turning some deliveries , more use of arm ball thus not becoming very predictable . Still lot of work required on control even to bowl 2 overs every match .

Muzarabani  is a seriously good bowler.

Generating lots of heat.

Steep bounce, zip off the deck, accuracy, seam movement at 134 k to 141 k.

Our 2nd rung pacers are looking like associate nation bowlers compared to him.

Tall, gets bounce from awkward lengths decent pace. Will trouble any team/batters who are not naturally good against bounce and hook/pull and cuts are not their go to shots.

Has increased his pace a bit previoulsy he was not touching 140 kmph but now he is bowling few balls at ~140 kmph, Ngarava was faster than him couple of seasons back.

Think Zim pacers were alot better then Ind pacers, had Zim batters were better in keeping the tempo , the results could have been different. Apart from that 234 game , Zim was in competition in rest of the games

Why is Ind keep recycling bowlers like Avesh and Khaleel, Chahal and Sundar or batters like Dube and Sanju.

Can see some reasoning with Khaleel only few LAF in Ind and TM would like to make some kind of back-up for Singh.

But do not think Khaleel himself is taking Ind Intnl career that seriously,  do not think Avesh is intnl quality but TM rated him highly.

Dube does not look intnl quality, he is nowhere near to be 2 over bowler in a good t20i game against a decent side. Like the thinking of selectors with player like him who are pure hitter, Ind needs player like those but then the role and position should be v.clear.

Sanju has been there for a v.longtime now and  unable to make a place in any format, KL, Kishan, Pant, Jitesh and Jurel are preferred over him in various formats.

If he is just third option whats the point, better develop a newer batter-keeper, may be Porel (DC) or some1 else. Why cannot they make a call on him.

These guys are 30ish yo the road-map should be clear for these you are not looking to develop them now, roi on this players should have stated to come by now.

Have nothing against age if they are good they are good but whats the point in having these players on tours where newer player can be slotted and developed.

Same thing with Chahal and Sundar - Tm by now knows these player cannot make it to playing 11 in ICC-events

It's pure laziness...nothing more.

Selectors don't watch domestic games, they have no figging idea who is capable of what.

At max they will see the finals and that's all. Any player which will have some backing will be promoted first and will keep on recycling them till they prove themselves to be useless in all conditions.

There were talks of Del t20 leagues, not sure if its still in the plans or not but if that happens and there are good non-big turning wkts there will be alot of fast bowlers in that league.

Right now all high potentials pacers are coming from there- Rana, Mayank, Simranjeet, Himanshu, there are few more as well

Was surprised to see MP t20 league did not have much to offer with pace bowling talent thought they had couple of bowler. There was a wkt-keeper batter Gawli something

Rajsthan may have couple Ashok Sharma and Rahul , these two looked better than khaleel and there was some1 with Malinga kind of action. Not sure where is Nagarkoti.

Mhrstra league had couple of interesting talent some 1 with LA-legspin and a legspinner. There would be couple touching 140 kmph too. hangerhekar was sushing batter with short bowling but still v.raw.

MP's cricketing administration is crippled.

Most of their cricketing centers are in Indore, which is at corner of the state and has poor rail connectivity across the state itself...forget the country.

Someone born and brought up in the other part of the state closer to UP & CG border...there is little to no infra for them.

Credit to JP Yadav & IC Pandey who have started academies in Bhopal & Rewa respectively...but that's still in adolescent stage. Players are still dependent on someone powerful who can notice them and take them ahead.

there is a lot of curiosity about where the Indian team is headed with Gambhir as head coach. The former Delhi captain has always backed fast bowler Navdeep Saini to make it big but the latter hasn't really come close to India selection since July 2021. It is now reported that Gambhir is interested in getting Saini back in the team.
