It's time to admit that Tyagi is done. Right now our top prospects are Harshit, Mayank and Mohsin. And the last two have injury concerns.

Mohsin isn't any prospect, he is far from ready. He regularly starts to run out of breath after bowling 2-3 overs.

 

Tyagi not playing regularly is the biggest challenge. If he will play regularly, he will learn new skills.

Rinku , Nitish Rana were not in autcation as well think they are retained 

 

Injured or not he is losing time, last season was to be his make or break. He did well in UPt20, Ok in SMAT made noise fr good reason, but blew it in IPL.

Already 24 yo , he may bowl his peak pace for couple of years unless makes it to intnl side then he too will settle down and look for longevity in domestic circuit and hope some ipl team picks him. Or he might be thinking that way currently. He is nowhere in the recognition fr a spot in Ind side, not sure how many A side tours are planned and those too are not direct way to Ind unless they play a game against top touring side like Aus/Eng and he is selected and performs there. Do not think A-side VS A-Side is a route now. 

 

There is no IPL team who seriously promotes high pace bowlers, Its already his 3rd team now and GT will not retain him. SRH already planning to release Umran.

Do not see any1 making into Ind team without the backing from the franchises. 

 

Mukesh Kumar, Khaleel, Avesh, Singh, Rana, Mayank (may be if he is fit) are the prospects Ind TM and selectors are looking at. Khaeel just made to the team because he is one of the few LAF in cntry, Avesh can he make into Ind's top 11 ever  ?? or he is just playing because he is easily replaced by a returning Bhumraha/Shami/Siraj without much resistance of SM and his performance ? Kumar has been decent in T20is so may be replace Siraj with him in t20is (only t20is, looks ordinary in test and ODIs). Singh is there because he is LAF and that is needed in any t20 set-up. His action has weakness not sure if can increase his pace to be goods for test and ODis. Assuming bowlers bowls 3-5 kmph below their T20s speeds in tests and Odis ?

 

Only Rana and Mayank looks high potential and longterm bt their sample size is too low to make any comment, its more of hoping that they turn-out good. Which was v.much the case with Khaleel and Avesh when they busted into the scenes.

Think he is also nt in consideration now, had he not got injured after that IPL season he was v.much in consideration.

He had better chances than Umran/Akshdeep/Mukesh after that IPL 

 

The 2nd in-line are in no particular order ---Akshdeep/Akash deep/ Rana/Mayank (if and when he is fit)/ Mukesh/Avesh/Khaleel.
