Most of the upcoming pacers have been non serious about red ball or longer formats atmost they labour to earn IPL money ,they are content with it

Started from Avesh khaleel to Tyagi now

Tyagi has played so little, hasn't made any attempt to switch domestic side after being ignored not one times but multiple times

This is very serious now,BCCI must reward the test and odi players handsomely to inspire these new pacers

or they may also increase base price in ipl of test and odi players with some min amount of matches...so they are encouraged to play for them

IPL is the only route to Ind cap, if some1 does well in IPLs they get into Ind intnl reckoning else they keep playing domestic with no reward. Only Mukesh Kumar was selected first in Ind side in all 3 format before playing even a single ipl season.

Sarfaraz has to wait for so long because he was unable to preform in IPLs. He may/may not be good in SENA but in Ind and spinning track he is okay to try him out

But some are there who are just content to be in some IPL side -khaleel clearly gives that kind of impression.

Tyagi- heard upca ppl were not happy with him they had impression that he only wants to play IPL and was not interested in domestic and go to NCA in regular season and only make himself available for IPL.

Avesh -- was he intnl qauity, he was selected to Ind team when he played for DC when Rabada and Nortje were in top form and in their prime

Redball side and to some extent Odi caps aren't given on IPL performance solely atleast for now

In future I'm not sure what will be the selection criteria for those two formats

Tyagi is off ourse trying to earn shortcut money, this is actually harming his stakes

He's a fool of highest order which is quite displayed in his bowling ,what low iq he is

BCCI must severely warm these young cricketers to make it the hard way as they won't earn anything through this shortcut route anyway

I have 95% given up on Tyagi and don't want him in the reckoning for his attitude anymore, atleast UMran is trying hard to get some red ball cricket behind him but Tyagi has been an embarrassment for his supporters

The route is IPL-->>T20I--> Odi. Test cricket selection is mostly fixed, there is only 1/2 change rest of the team has been same for last 7/8 years.

But who ever makes to Test does come from IPL route, its hard to imagine any player not doing good in IPL be selected for tests unless they are playing for same ipl side as Ind captain --Siraj is the example.

Have not seen Tyagi much but keep hearing he is high potential but then in IPL apart from that 1 game its hard to find his any good performance or him even playing.

Though up domestic has alot of talent but you can not credit much a 145+ kmph bowler against not that good batting, domestic batter will find it hard to handle that kind of pace.

Umran is different case he was not part of ind cricketing system, he was picked by irfan by few trials, it takes time even to get into that atmosphere. He too needs to improve rather quickly, TM fast-tracked him and he was decent in the starting and then fall-off suddenly, with that pace he should have been able to win few matches on his own.He had few games against SL, Irld

Ind fast bowling resources are so low which was evident in SL series and even in Zim, Ind bowlers where behind Zim pacers. TM and selectors should bring in all the top talent into the mix quickly. So not think Khaleel, Avesh, Mukesh kumar are going to win Ind any matches.  Mukesh kumar has been decent in T20s with his yorkers in the end so may be 3rd T20i seamer till he is good.

This is my concern.

How do we stop youngsters from focusing only on ipl.

We need to incentivise them.

How can you say to say mayank.go play test cricket after first class games where he will be earning a quarter of what he would receive in ipl

Not to mention is less work with more money involved.

What a boring bowling lineup.

It's a pain watching Arshdeep in slow motion grunting quietly with open mouth and then hitting 132k.

Arshadeep in line to unleash his harmful 125ks in scorching heat of Perth down under later this year

Law of averages,India making all efforts to humiliate themselves this time in Aus

I'm happy for him. He said he's enjoying the team atmosphere as they always have music on lol
